WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY CHALLENGE MMTPT565 “Just in CASE”
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
CHALLENGE: Today’s destination is the mother-in-law of our fellow stamper chrissyd723 (Chris). I thought it would be fun for them to receive cards that were inspired by Chris’s gallery. So I challenge you to visit the amazing gallery of chrissyd723and find a card that inspires you. DESTINATION STATION: SCS Bailmac (Pam) has requested a tea party for fellow SCS chrissyd723 (Chris Dickinson). The tea party is actually for Chris’mother-in-law, Sandy, whom she is taking care. Chris resides in Wisconsin but is currently living with Sandy in Alabama while she is dealing with some rough cancer stuff. Chris says that Sandy is such a trooper but can certainly use some teapot cheer. Sandy likes knitting, Amish books, romance faith-based books, the Hallmark channel and seasonal decorations. She loves soft, warm colors and is particularly fond of peach, moss and sage. If you have an extra card consider sending one to Chris [at the same address posted below] to support her as well. Send your cards to: Sandy Dickinson (or Chris Dickinson) 203 Woodfield Ct. Florence, AL 35630 USA

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or just some warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party.Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.
Chris is in my city with her MIL and I have been so excited to go to lunch with her a couple of times already. What fun!!!! She told me her MIL loves chickadees so that is what I made.

Another challenge only catch-up entry, which required us to CASE "chrissyd723" gallery as this Traveling Teapot was for Chrissy's mother-in-law. I chose her "CAS491 Flowering Trees" card, though I have to say, I thought it was an autumn-hued red leaf tree, not flowers...my bad.
Here is my CASE card, which used her "fall" theme, but I changed the color combinations and the theme from a "thinking of you" card to a birthday card. I added a layered sentiment rather than stamping directly on the card front, plus I added several more mat layers than the original card displayed. See my card here: A Cardmaking Birthday Buddy to Celebrate!
