Hi Darleneh710- welcome to the group. We use the same thread but change letters every Wednesday. We are still randomly going through the alphabet and this week's letter is the letter D. I did a dog card. So have fun, chat away, you can always ask for help.
I haven't played before, but was going to try this time, but N is hard lol...I did find some words online, but still challenging.
Hi Darlene, Welcome!!! As FMcrafter explained we switched letters on Wednesday and we are now on the letter "D". However, if you have your heart set on doing a card for the letter "N" please feel free to do so. I'm just happy you are joining us. I look forward to seeing what you create. Again, Welcome.
Ladies, our dear friend Triasmite (Bev) will not be playing the challenges for the next few weeks. She is having some major surgery done. She asked me not to announce what the surgery is, however, she said it is very painfull. I am guessing she had this done once already. It sounds pretty major. Anyways..I was thinking in addition to our "D" cards would you be willing to make a get well card for Bev? Then send it on to me and I will make her up a care package. I will include everyone's cards. If you know other SCSr's that would be willing to make a get well card for our collection; please ask them to pm me for my address or if you have it already feel free to give it to them. I want to cheer Bev up. Trust me when I say; it really does sound painfull.
It is going to be a busy, but fun day for me. I had a swap that closed Fri so today I am starting the swapping process. I hope to get a lot done with that. It is my largest swap so far.
I do want to squeeze in some time to do my challenge cards, because it is sooo much fun and I have so many ideas for them. Enjoy your day. I will be checking back.

Hi Everyone. I am very excited, I talked to DH last night. He said this time next week he should be home. Yay!!! This time for at least a week. As some of you know I have only seen him two weekends so far this year. So you can imagine my excitment. If I'm not on here that much next week it's because I am spending all my time with him. So I hope y'all will keep the chatter up without me. I will check in at least once a day tho. C'mon could you stay away totally???? Addictions I swear....lololol
Also, this week's letter will be posted later in the day tomorrow. I have to take my brother and sister in law to Eau Claire. She is having a plate put in the back of her neck. She is a nervous wreck, she just had a tumor removed off her brain not but a few years ago. So she is scared. And since I am her only sister she wants me there. Can you believe they do this surgery as outpatient?? Wow how times have changed. Anyways...we are staying in a hotel tomorrow night because tomorrow she has to have tests then if everything checks out she has surgery on Thursday. I will be bringing my laptop so I can post tomorrow.

Today will be finishing up some swap cards, going for lunch with dd, packing an overnight bag, taking my granddaughter to her hip hop dance class, then hopefully getting some more cards made. Oh and laundry. I tell ya, responsibilities get in the way of my card making. geesh.. lol

Hey Suzy..is it true they are going to purposefully flood some farmland to ease the flood levels. Say it aint so.
They already did just that a few weeks ago. At a local lake that has been flooding for a few years now and the government has built berm after berm to keep the water back. Well all the cabin owners had to move their cabins out of there, they removed all the camp and picnic buildings, power poles, etc and opened up the berm and flooded the lake out. No more cabins..........no more camping.....it's all under water now. The lake rose over 17 feet! They actually had no choice because a neighboring lake was going to overflow it's banks this year again and start to make it's way to the cabin lake and flood it out anyway. That park has been there for just about 100 years........the local regional park committee was actually planning a big 100 year anniversary event for this summer......not going to happen now.
Hello ladies, I am sorry that I didn't get this week's letter posted yesterday. I am at the hospital waiting for my sil to get out of surgery. However, I didn't want y'all to wait any longer. I will do the drawing when I get home tomorrow. I hope that is okay with everyone. I will also be making my card tomorrow. Ok ladies...this week's letter is kind of an easy one. This week's letter is "L". We now have three letters left before we switch to doing this in alpha order. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Huggs.

Maybe later tomorrow before I get anything done...had to get a molar extracted that has been plagueing me for 6 months so I am off to find soft food and painkillers. OUCH

Yay Crafter!!!! I will get my card out to you tomorrow. I will be cleaning the grill today, going to my bros house (I didn't make it yesterday cuz dh came home) and making my challenge cards today. Of course I will also be spending time with dh.

g'morning. How are my muck runners? Guess what? I actually have my card done. lol..took me long enough didn't it? Oh well life sometimes gets in the way of my stamping. I don't let it happen too often tho. lol Ok here it is:
