Angie, I was going to put a list together but for obvious reasons no one wants their details made public so if you pm any of the ladies here I’m sure any of us would be happy to send you our addresses.
I’ve never watched the hunger games, we don’t have sky, Netflix etc so anything like that we have to watch at our sons.
we just watched a programme about some murders from I think it was 2004 in England, it showed how the police solved the murder, they knew who he was but couldn’t prove it, I don’t normally enjoy things like that but it was well done and over three nights, it was really interesting.
The tv is pretty dire, hundreds of channels but the usual rubbish. We still watch the repeats of frasier sometimes!
Jayne, thanks for all the lovely comments in my gallery, I suddenly realised last night I hadn’t looked in on the Christmas card challenge!
For some reason I went through the whole of yesterday thinking it was Saturday, quite a few times I actually said to Steve that I kept getting the day wrong, then I came downstairs and asked why he didn’t have football focus on, then I realised again it was Friday, not sure what happened to make me think that!
I do miss shows like Lewis and Endevour which were a kind of spin off from Morse
Claire Goose in The Coroner is finished but a Canadian station is showing Coroner.. a canadian version of the show. Then there is Frankie Drake mysteries which i enjoy. A longer running Murdoch Mysteries is also Canadian but has more blood because it features a female coronor.
Jayne.. i am uncertain whether i can make the mass. I am on nights right now. Today i woke up at 3pm my time. I will hopefully fall asleep by 9am my time. Oh the joys
Here's my card for Ina's progressive challenge. Loved the challenge Ina and I will use it a lot. Thank you.
Jan, glad you saw the comments I left in your gallery.....I need to look at all of the ladies galleries. By the time I comment on threads I run out of time..lol.
Lynn, that's a shame. Sleep well.
Kathy, I wish it were cooler here. I nearly melted in my craft room today. I haven't done a lot today...so lethargic.

I spent most of yesterday in the hospital with my sister-in-law. Since there are no nurses on this thread, I will explain it in lay terms. She got a sudden onset of very rapid, irregular heartbeat, with symptoms of shortness of breath, nausea, and light headedness. She's had it before, but it usually stopped sddenly too, but this time it did not stop after 1/2 an hour. After 2 differnt I.V. medications, it still did not go back to normal, although the second drug did slow the rate down from 150 to between 80 and 100. She spent all day in ER and finally got admitted to cardiac care at 5 p.m. So, I got to sit in the chair I used to sit in when I was working there. After she got admitted I finally went home. This isdue had lots of repercussions. If her heart did jot go back into a normal rhythm, she would not be able to have a hip replacement surgery booked for Feb. 6th and she really needs that surgery as she is in a lot of pain. Well, praise the Lord, she just called me and said her heart flipped into a normal rhythm at 10:30 p.m. I am so thankful.

Ina that’s good news, hopefully it stays that way, let’s hope you SIL gets the operation she needs.
Steve sometimes has irregular heart beat, last time as he was having an ECG so we wasn’t allowed to leave the medical centre, got to the hospital two days later, no problems!
Kathy, are you ready for all the snow that is coming to Pennsylvania?
We are forecast to only get about 4-6 inches, but it will get very cold.
I'm ready! I cleaned litter pan, took out recycling, took trash to burning barrel, did dishes, did laundry, got a shower and drew two gallon jugs of water.I covered my car windshield so if we have to move it to plow, I will be able to pull off the cover so I can see. Pray for my sons. One is working 45 minutes away until 10 p.m. and the other is taking his wife to her dads so they can get him supplies before the worse hits. Luckily no one has to go anywhere tomorrow and the church cancelled services.
Lynn, I watch Miss Fischer and Dr. Blake too. Just saw The Coroner last week for the first time.
Woke up to 6" of snow this morning. Finally got out about 11:00 to shovel. Cold but the sun was shining so that helped melt the last bits the shovel missed. Supposed to be -6 tomorrow morning. Have to work tomorrow so I need to make sure I got outside stuff done today.
Angie, you got lots of snow!
We only got about 2.5 inches, and it has pretty well stopped. I got my driveway shoveled. The neighbour kids are out playing. I take pride in getting my driveway done, because if I wait, one of the young men blows it out for me. They seem to think I am a senior citizen.

I am up and my brain is finally working. I have a bunch of laundry to get done.. i hope it isn't too busy down there since it looks like a snow day. I am very happy that grumpy andcsweet pea made their flight. They must be in the fun and the sun by now. I am in analysis mode so off to take advantage of it.
Thanks for directing me to the card you made in September Kathy. I love that fold, and will use it a lot, at least for a little while, until the next best thing comes around.

You made me smile Ina, that’s me, see a new fold and have to do one, then another, maybe just another, like the Z fold, I’ve made three now I’ve got two on the go like the fancy fold Sharon did this week!
They’ve had snow in parts so Spain! Up in the north and a great patch down through Madrid and down to the French southern border according to the weather satellite.
Just rain here thank goodness
It's been 42 degrees here today apparently in the city.....cooler on the coast where we are. By 7am after we had walked the beach path it was already 25 degrees. All we have done is stay indoors with the aircon on. There's not much else can be done unless you have a pool and we don't, even though the beach is only 500 metres down the road from us. I did crafting and made my sample card/s for Thursday's challenge...was fun. I also did some scrapping.
I've been on this site for a while and cleaned out more of our duplicate photos whilst chatting. I must press on and do something else.
Have fun.

Yes Lynn, just like Jayne, all we can do is stay inside.
Although, I did go out to church this morning. We only got 3 inches of snow, but today, it is starting to blow across the roads. I'm not looking forward to going out for my prayer walk at 7:30 am tomorrow.
Jayne, I am already looking forward to your challenge on Thursday.

Me 2!!! And I still have my selected 2 DSP papers waiting to be handle to do your challenge Sis Ina ..I swear I can be way to laid back and always always way pass fashionably late !! I think that’s also my main reasons I love VSN Challnges it’s the only time my brain and mojo is trained to hurry up don’t over think!!! Figured I do VSN to get me trained to do fast and simple and in a hurry but I just think it’s Hawaiian laid back style that just wins one majority of the days of my life lol......
So i am a bad girl! There are only 2 good pictures of my friend (both as a couple)... one from her wedding and one from about 8 years ago. The more recent one was printed on a textured surface and has a soft filter effect. I scanned it in and tried everything i could think of to remove hubby from the photo. I mean a while ago i was able to clean up an old crumpled photo of my friend uncle. But try as i might i just could not do anything this time.
So why am i a bad girl... my neighbour daughter is a graphic artist.. she is beyond talented. I asked if she can get an 8x10 photo out of the picture ..in a frame.. that i gave her but to not take more than 30 minutes. I told the daughter that i respect her time too much to ask for more than that and if there is a cost to let me know. But i still feel guilty for asking the favour.
Everyone can use a helping hand every now and then what are friends for? Plus it’s easy to say no and a true friend would understand you my Dear Sis Lynn is a true friend to your Friend who passed and she was blessed to have you as a friend as I’m sure you are as well to have had her as one! Bless your heart!!
Lynn, you sound as though you like things right and for your friend. Your heart is big.
I have set myself a reminder to post my challenge...it is an easy one ladies...nothing complicated for my first one this year.....lol. I'm sure you will all be able to make something from its interpretation. I have 2 samples to share with you and enjoyed making them. It pushes me out of my comfort zone and I shall host again....with Ina's permission...and when I can.
Today has been scans and then house chores. It's been cooler and cooling down again the next few days thank goodness. The full moon had been playing havoc with my mood swings....I am learning even more about myself.
Lynn, we started watching Game of Thrones on youngest son's recommendation. Gosh it's strange and violent. After the first episode I was about to stop but now 3 episodes in, I am hooked. Have you seen it?
We watched every episode of Dr Blake Mysteries until he had to go to court IRL and they took the program off our tv. Love that show.
Happy day everyone

Jayne that’s how we started with Game of Thrones, I didn’t like the violence but it gets you hooked.
Not feeling well today, had a bad night with indigestion, twice so no sleep either, we went for a walk but I’m on the sofa as I ache everywhere, probably as it was really cold at the football match, I didn’t want to go but then Steve wouldn’t go and it’s only the second one we’ve been to one since we’ve been back, I had to give the player the man of the match Cava, we all vote, funny it was young Diego,Steve found a photo from ten years ago of our youngest giving him presenting it to him.
I feel like a drug dealer! I have all my friends meds in my trunk. I will be at the pharmacy tomorrow so i can dispose of them safely. She had meds from 1997!
On another note my son just sent me a picture of him on the balcony in Jamaica! I wonder if he knows we are going through a cold spell! Ah i love him!
Jan, still on Game of Thrones and up to episode 6 now...gosh all those characters. We think we have worked it all out now LOL. Hope you are feeling better. Nothing worse than indigestion during the night. I find now that if I overeat I have dreams of being choked...it's happened twice to me now and I wake up with shocking pain near my ribcage and spend time up and pacing the bedroom sucking on indigestion tablets. It's the worse feeling and only happens when I have been a glutton...LOL.
Today was golf and was much cooler. We had a shower during the night and so it was humid....not good for my hair LOL but hairdressers tomorrow as I'm looking like a shaggy dog today. My hair is thick and grows sideways...can't wait to be shorn LOL.
Just about to write up my challenge in my notes so that I can post it when I return from golf on Thursday which will be around the time you are all sleeping. Ina, do we refer to the main list on P1 for remaining dates when you need help, or will you post an updated list? I am happy to help when I can.
Happy day everyone

Jayne you sound super organised with the challenge, looking forward to it.
I’m feeling much better thank you, I was scared to eat much yesterday, I had a tuna sandwich for my dinner last night as we were going to have chilli con carne, which I love but I was worried the spicy sauce would start me off again. I slept yesterday afternoon on the sofa, can’t believe it as I never sleep in the day. I didn’t even do any crafting!
Don’t you just love Jon Snow, I used to get confused with all the characters, still do! Sad that we only have the last episodes to watch, I think they come out in April.
Lynn that’s steve when we go away, three months worth of pills in his hand luggage, he takes eight per day so that’s quite a few, our young man at the pharmacia tell me to take a copy of his electronic prescription in case the customs stop us in SF.
Jayne you sound super organised with the challenge, looking forward to it.

Glad you are feeling better. I love tuna....and I also love Chilli Con Carne. I used to make that a lot but haven't made it in years...given me an idea for later this week LOL. Hubby doesn't like too spicy a sauce but I love spicy...it just doesn't always love me LOL.
I was going to say that one of my favourite characters is Jon Snow....someone told me not to get too involved with any of the characters but he is my favourite so far, and also Ned and the daughter who loves swords (Isara or something I think). I can't stand the Queen and her brothers....but I guess I'm not supposed to LOL. Youngest told us to watch it now as when the next series comes out we will be able to watch it all together LOL. I've just asked hubby if he wants to watch an episode now but he's chilling.
Happy day
