Oh what a shame Lynn, what will you do for lunch tomorrow? We've just had our Christmas Eve fuddle, a buffet, had a surprise call from DIL and youngest grandson, he wanted to speak to his grandad!
We collected the turkey this morning and steve cut it up and made a Turkey crown, cheesecake not looking very good, ha,ha, that's me and cakes, don't know why I don't give in and just buy them!
Kelly, pleased to hear that Bob should have a clear run home, you must be so excited.
Well, I've been looking through the galleries since I got home from doing a bit of babysitting (my neighbor says it's not babysitting, it's called grandparenting) and one more thing for last minute shopping. I drove to Guelph for that (12 miles) and it was super foggy on the way home. Now, I really must get busy wrapping!
Sorry your friends had to cancel Lynn. My DD should have cancelled, as she is also ill, but her husband said her would do it all, but he really doesn't have much of a clue. Get this, he was going to buy a frozen turkey on his way home from work today. It would be just getting defrosted about the time we have to eat tomorrow. Good thing I am bringing a broccoli casserole, a hot dip for snacks, a veggie, and a dessert. I asked what time to come, and he said, Oh, my family doesn't do that, they just show up whenever'. Huh?

Ina, you are right - he has no clue... but what a wonderful Christmas memory for all of you.
Lynn, thanks for the pinterest link. I am colormuse or Kelly Henkins if anyone wants to come find me. I have multiple 'paper' boards. The OCD in me LOL

Things are quiet here. Bob made it home around 5 last night. Quiet evening of watching the Great Christmas Light Fight episode I had on the DVR. Then I went to bed and he wrapped presents.
Too much up and down the stairs yesterday cleaning. Felt like I had shin splints in my right leg. Another good reason to get the office/ studio finished. So anxious.

Great post in the Christmas card challenge...she marks her calendar "reindeer club" on the 25 of each month...that reminds her to do her quota for the month...being lazy...I used my label maker
so..I want to make gift tags for my friend...all different I guess...so she can use them on her CHristmas presents next year...how much per tag do I pay myself?
Lynn. how many tags can you get out of one sheet of cs? And then consider how much work you are going to put into them. Maybe $0.50 apiece unless they are really fancy and have lots of other product on them.

BTW, my son-in-law did a marvelous job with Christmas dinner for 9 of us. The turkey was great, there were 4 veggie dishes, as well as mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce. Pumpkin pie for dessert, as well as the lime fluff dish I brought. My DD was up and about, but did spend some of the time lying down on the sofa. It was so much fun watching my grandson play with his new 'Thomas the train' toys!

Happy Boxing Day, we had a lovely day yesterday, just the four of us, much more relaxing than when our friends join us, we had a walk along the seafront, had breakfast then came home, had dinner at four, today we are chilling and having, cold turkey, ham, salad, baked potatoes, basically left overs, my cheesecake was delicious apparently, after Christmas pud I couldn't face any. Just having a pre dinner sherry, ds1&gf have been sitting in the garden as its 17c.

That would be me, Lynn. LOL I did it the first year and I stayed on track. The next year I co-ran it with VikkiJo so was more distracted. This year was just pure fail. LOL Hopefully having it in my dayplanner - not just 'saying' I'll do them on the 25th will help.

Ok..gift tags for my friend...yes Lynn is taking her mind off things...what would you say is the best size for a gift tage for a Christmas present. I may have shapes on cricut...I do have an old CM tag maker punch...I also have a box of the 'packing' labels
Ok..15 minutes to get cricut to create the tag I want...20 minutes spent rebooting and trying to get cricut to see the explore machine..we are now waiting for the cutting process...so 2 tylemol for me then back for assembly
