Question: As a SU demo, do I charge myself the full amount of everything I order, or do I charge myself the total with our 20% discount? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I agree. I buy used stamps on ebay, and I "charge" myself what I actually spent, not the retail price of the items. I think your situation would be a parallel of that.
Great cards ladies! So far I have taken one class this year and the rest of my expenses are for organizational items. For the class I will charge myself for the class kit and then pay myself for the cards made with it. Comes out about even, but I still need to track.
I do have a SS swap coming up. Even though those items are not for myself, I feel like I need to charge myself what I am spending on it because I will be recieving a package of the same value. Does that make sense?

Yes, it does. Angie. It's not like a donation, you're getting something back in return.. just as if you had purchased it yourself.

Thanks ladies.....at least my debt levels wont go quite so high through the roof! I am down to $131.50 in the red.....feel like I am going to play catch up all year A couple of my copics have run out, so I need to go and buy refills.......ahhh......best go grace my desk with my presence if Im ever going to get in front
I haven't spent anything yet, so looks good. But soon, I will be in the red, when I do my SU! order for FEB! But it is fun to track it. And it has made me more conscious of spending. I have literally quit going to the LCSs, and just usuing my stast! It was an addiction!
Okay, I must have missed something. What is Ina talking about? We have a challenge other than Stamping to Spend? for points?
Sharon
Sorry, I still haven't had time to figure all my totals out, but I've really been on a roll making cards and have paid myself $61.50 so far for January, and I sold some old stamp sets to a girl at work for $50, so I did pretty good for this month!

Sounds like you are ahead of it! Good going!

You're doing fine, Mel. The key I stress most is AWARENESS. so you're doing awesome, in fact! :-)

I'll go back and pull that post for you when I get off the phone, Sharon. But yep! It's an encouragement to use your stash! LOL... So I can send you more stash! :-D
Yeah.. I'm looking at an SAB order in March. I've made my list, marked stuff off, added other stuff. ::: sigh :::

You have been really hitting the challenges, Maggie. That's been helping you a lot. Keep it up!

I'll be checking the KEYWORDS on the last day of each month, making sure I have the points for each participant correct and drawing a name. I'll try to post the Winner's name here within 2 days of doing so.

Reason: Icon addition
I'm feeling the need to get a little crafty! I hope I don't get another headache. They aren't migraines, just pathetic throbbing!
Sorry about the headache, Toni. I've been battling a little one right behind my eyes the last couple of nights. Has made working on this new book really difficult.
I did get my card for Magazine Monday posted today. You can see it in my gallery. It also applies to the S2S12C - Pizza topping/ round challenge.

Did quite a bit at the retreat this weekend as far getting cards and card kits done for swaps. I did a shoebox swap, so that helped my totals A LOT. Need to find one reciept and I can update my totals for the month. Actually getting kind of excited. Weird I know. Who would have thought? I think I may be a little in the red, but running pretty close to even is unusual for me, so really want to see where I am.

Yeah, I haven't cleaned out my file folders from 2011 yet. I need to do that so I can file this months tickets away. I'll add them up Wed. morning and update my total.

I'm updating mine as I type. I'm barely ahead. LOL Glad my shopping trip Saturday falls into the Feb. month. hehe
I also have 10 tickets from December I didn't add in last month or this because I've not 'finished' the Christmas cards yet. Just the fronts are done. When I can count them completely done, then those totals will get added in.

Ack! I am so far behind in the challenges. Maybe I'll have to start from February. I need to start incorporating these in some of my other challenges when I can.
I did my totals the other day. I'm not posting it on here. :( I'm so far in the hole, I may not dig my way out until Thanksgiving. ;)

My totals are updated and I'm barely in the black....better than in the red.
I keep forgetting to add the challenges on my cards, too. I finally got a small notebook to write them down so I can look at it. If I get on the computer to check, I'll get sidetracked in the gallery.
Sharon, this looks amazing! How big is your crafting space? I think my space is small, but maybe I have too much stuff
It is nine feet by 16 feet. It is in our basement, and was a useless walkthru room from laundry to storage. My DH said I just as well use it for my craft room, as it wasn't good for anything else. It has double doors at one end to washer and dryer and large arched opening to the family room. The door you see in the photo between the punches, goes to the storage, heating and hot water heater.
I had to go measure! I have way too much stuff. I have purged a lot of stuff, and was able to get rid of a lot of plastic storage when he got me the cabinets. It is a lot more organized now. Hope I can keep it that way. I still plan on getting rid of a lot of stuff.

Wow... Sharon, I can NOT let myself get sidetracked today to look at this. I have to get this article written. But I WILL be back to look. 144 sq feet is a lot of space to play in. compare that to my 75sq feet hehe.
And yeah, Toni, we probably all have TOO MUCH stuff LOL But it's soo much fun!
