Hello all and thank you for looking! hope all is well with you all : )
I made 2 Paper Bag albums for my 11 yr old family member who love the Gorjuss dolls (over and over again) and loves to write stories to the design I send.
here are the postings, MMJ224 was perfect for all the bits and bobs that were going into these projects.
Jayne asked me to post my Alphabet card for letter F in MMJ, also. I used Copic markers, Micron pens, sequins, crystal lacquer and a little glitter on my card. I'm also getting better at "splattering" my inks, too. I now put whatever I want to splatter in a box and fire away! Less clean up!

I have been patiently waiting for a couple of weeks to post my page for Gracie’s challenge but it is also for the Alpha challenge so had to wait until today.
Whoohoo I met them all. I had fun creating this although the technique was a little tricky when fussy cutting LOL. Ethel didn’t mind as she’s a bit under the weather after visiting my location LOL

I created a couple of mixed media pages in my Dr. Seuss book. One fit Jayne's January MMJ challenge. The other worked for an Alpha challenge. I was just having fun using my imagination and going wild!

My May card includes: flowers, bright colors, and sunflower gems which make me think of May and also, texture with embossed panel:
I truly don't remember what it means....I think the j is joyful. There are very few who do these, even less than there used to be. It's kind of like the Friday MIX, you can do anything you like, there is always a list of things to choose from.

I can’t believe it’s been over 3 months since I was last on this site and I didn’t even have chance to read offline. That’s a first
Thank you to Melody and Jean for their challenges over the past 3 months. I will eventually get to them. I need some mojo with jet lag and post holiday blues. I thought I’d start with the MMJ thread and am happy to see that it’s still going.
Welcome Kim to Mixed Media Joy. We are always happy to see new people on this thread. As the ladies said, anything goes. You can also combine with other SCS challenges and it would be great if it was combined with the Friday MM challenges too. We usually provide prompts to help people get started and you only have to use two or more so there’s lots of scope. The most important thing is to share your projects and just have fun.
I’m taking small steps at present to ease myself back into the world so it may be a while before I create but I will check on your projects when I can.
