 | | I have an old Dr. Seuss book, "Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb," which I've been using to create a mixed media book/journal. It has been a fun journey of exploring mixed media and altered art.
To start this page, I masked off the monkey and drum and started experimenting with stencils and acrylic paint to create a background. Next, I used the Washi Tape Inlay technique to create my colorful birds, adding tiny black gems for eyes. I used some fuzzy yarn to add texture to the striped grass area the grass area. So much fun! |
