Hello everyone... Good to hear from you Lauren and Dawn It is a busy time for every body it seems.
Was a sad day yesterday.. My friend passed away on Sat.. A blessing really but still a loss personally as well as to the community... The type of person that loved everyone and gave from the heart. She will be missed by many. We actually have sunshine today.. I want to do some running around today.. Pay my taxes grrrr :( and then have a 50% coupon for Michael's so will see what I can do about that.... I have do my button card yet....and of couse do a special Sympathy Card... Hope every one has a great day.... and yes Kathy and Donna, those little ones know how to burn LOTS of energy but have a way of winning you over with what they say or that special unexpected hug... |

Thank you for your hugs and warm thoughts...I appreciate them very much...
I came home wih my 50% coupon.. can you believe that.... !!! I went to Walmart first and found a punch that I knew I would use but thought 'I have my coupon so will go to Michaels and get it there'... To my surprise, it was marked up to twice the price so That sort of put me off--grrr -- just a little--- so left. Moral of the story--- no body won... I didn't even come home with the darn punch!! lol... Love your button card Lynn. That beach Grumpy was at looks inviting... bugs and all |

just finished baking some buns and a Brownie.. and they even turned out.. Have not not had a baking day like that for along time...
Waiting for them to cool so I can deliver them to family of my friend whose funeral is Sat. I am so behind in the card making so hopefully I can get caught up next week.. Love the cards that are showing up.. Hope everyone is having a good day..... |

I have 7 more working days. :( I had planned to take the last 3 days of the month off but they have finally found someone to take my position so I will "try" to train a person who has never worked in education let alone worked with 11 school corporations and the department of ed! grrrrrr....but the way I see it, it is up to that person to "learn" as she goes (and leave me alone when I'm outta here!) I will be heading to Texas on July 1 to spend a week with my DD and her family, then home and try to get my craftroom organized and just enjoy each crafty day! |
