I did this as a congratulations card for a 12 year old niece - I used a star on it so it fits the challenge that Jane posted for the first half of July:
Pretty, Susan!

I've built up a stash of birthday cards from making duplicates and I'll be using a few of those for this month's birthdays. But here's a new card for an artsy friend.
Love it! Perfect for your artist friend.

I'm back to posting for July. My aunt turns 80 on Thursday and I have been putting off making her card. This was quick and easy to do. I don't know if this qualifies for the July 15 challenge. I did use some traditional Christmas colors. At first I didn't think this would be good for an 80-year-old, but why not? Young at heart. Now to make DH's card before Friday. I hope my Cinch gets here soon so I can work more on the guest book. Of course, it hasn't had time to get here yet. I am so impatient.
left love and gave bonus credit!

I thought I had my July cards all finished but my son and his girlfriend moved in together saturday so I thought I would make a card for them to welcome Magdalena to the family.
Great card. She has a pretty name. Best wishes to them both.

I've been quiet here - but I've been making lots of cards. I still have four to edit/upload, but not tonight.
I've got two more cards to make for July for my S.S. class, then I should be done. Here's what I've been doing:
I also uploaded my July CCC12 Christmas cards. That's 56 cards done for the year. Yay!
Left lots of love, Val. Great cards and Go you for having so many Christmas Cards done. I'll get CCC12 done this morning too.

One more birthday card for July....I used a June challenge...to make a card for a male and feature his occupation or hobby. At present, my son-in-law's full time job is renovating the old house they are living in, so I thought tools would be appropriate.
Love it, Ina! I have those brads, too. I bought them to use on our house remodel book but keep finding card challenges where they are perfect. hehe

Thank you, Sharon, I would have not liked missing that card.
Here's my card for AOCC12M. The stars and stripes digi paper is from Doodle Pantry. The colors on Woody don't match but couldn't resist using him on this card.
I needed to make a thank you card for friends who hosted a Canada Day barbecue yesterday. I also wanted to honour Featured Stamper, Loll Thompson, and ended up doing a very close CASE of one of her cards. Here's what I made:
Beautiful! Left love.

I need to make sympathy cards again. Some of them will be for my boss to keep on hand. DH's nephew had a friend who was killed in a car accident in the early hours of the 4th. He was only 18 and just graduated from high school in May.
So sad, Debbie. I wish me could keep them safe until they could truly experience their life ahead.

July is getting a slow start because of the holiday, but I did finish a few cards to upload. I even made some that qualify for the current challenge to use stars and/or stripes.
Left love and gave you the bonus credit. Nice!

How tragic Debbie. Just when he had finished all those years of work in school and preparing for a bright future. It is hard to understand the "why" of these things.
I'll dedicate this card in Jaden's honor.
If I can part with it, ;) this will be a birthday card for a guy.
Beautiful card, Val!

My boss ran out of her stash of sympathy cards so I'm working on making more for her. I made three of this one. I need to make at least three more in more feminine colors. I am determined to use up the designer papers I have before buying more. I still have a birthday card to make that should have been in the mail already since his birthday is Thursday, 2 birthday cards to make before the end of next week, one card for the week after that, then I need to start on the cards for August which are the first couple weeks of the month. So many cards to make and so little time. I miss my 3-day weekends.
Beautiful cards, Debbie. And I think these would work for male or female.

I seem to be getting so many cards done, Ive even had four unexpected ones too.
This card was a special for my friend, took me a couple of weeks to complete it but she was over the moon when she saw it so it was worth all the effort.Every page is decorated differently.
Lovely Jan! Had to fav.

Too bad I have to work today. It's raining, finally. Good day to be crafting. I just hope it's raining all over the state. Too many fires burning.
We've finally started getting a little rain and more is in the forecast. Unfortunately, it's not going to help our 12"+ deficit for the year. And they say this is only the beginning. There will not be a 2nd cutting of hay this year. Farmers are having to use their first cutting to feed cattle now, as well as forced to sell of part of their herds to keep the cost of feed supplements down. I wish we could afford to buy one and put it in the freezer because beef prices are going to skyrocket in about 4 months. And of course, Bob is working ALL deer season this year so we won't get one of those either :-(

Yes, Kelly thank you for all your great comments! And thank you to the rest of you too. It is encouraging to keep making cards.
Kelly, I got my goodie envelope earlier in the week. So fun! I think my DH is envious that I got this little bag of happy mail! I have so much fun taking it all out and looking at it. Can't wait to use some of it. I had jury duty all week, but am done now! JOY! Tomorrow, I get to play in my craft room with my new goodies.
Thank you Kelly.
