I've heard Ken Davis on the radio and our sister church in Milton has had him come for a comedy event. He's a good speaker and I believe he has also written books.

The weather has been so gloomy and lots of rain...I miss my Arizona sunshine. We did get some sun yesterday, but back to gloomy today and supposedly for the next several days! I am so unproductive when it is cloudy and dreary, but I am going to make myself get up in my craft room, which is a disaster from the weekend with my little granddaughters! Of course, a lot of it is my own mess, too! Ha ha!

Good morning everyone! The rain is back today. It is so strange to be having so much rain at this time of year here. Our heat is set at 60 and it has been coming on from time to time the last few days. It is normally time for AC around here.
DD1 is obviously in a new place because I didn't wake up to new texts from her. New York City and she forgets all about us! LOL

OK, for today's cuteness factor, I have two photos for you. First one is Honey and the second a random photo that I saw online and downloaded because DD2 loves owls.
I'm at work but just popped in to tell you I heard from DD1. They apparently had NY pizza at some fabulous place and she texted that she can't go back to California pizza! Uh-oh since that is where she lives!
Adorable pics Catherine! If anyone talks to Victoria, tell her Wendy's summer salads are back! That will cheer her up! She ate more of them than I did last year! And I ate a lot!

I made a card today...yep one. My goal was to make at least 3 but this one took longer than I expected. It’s for another challenge that I should have done in February. I am feeling guilty because I didn’t scrap. I also forgot to do a card for my brothers birthday that is coming up....must get onto that.
The main thing is I got inky fingers and had fun.

Catherine, I could just cuddle Honey to me. What an adorable little sweetheart. And I loved the owl and kitten photo. So sweet to see two entirely different species getting along.
DH went to the casino yesterday and I binge-watched more Star Trek Enterprise. The show is almost over. I guess I’ll go to the next sequel with Captain Picard, although I am not a big ferengi fan.

In my continuing effort to update our home, I ordered a new floor lamp several days ago, one more farmhouse look than brass and glass. It came yesterday. It’s HUGE. I’m glad I didn’t order the one that looked bigger! But I love the look. DH pronounced it “okay” so I ordered one for his side of the couch. Then that takes care of the lighting in this gloomy living room. I’m still grumbling about the dark paneling. DH painted a piece of similar board that he had in the garage and two coats did cover, so maybe it will be a summer project after all. (Hope, hope, hope)
