DD1 went to school today but by the end of the day, she wasn't feeling well again. She did, however, join her fellow elite choir members to sing the National Anthem for our county sheriff department's swearing in ceremony.

Mahalo to all that took the time from your day to wish me a Hau’oli Lahanau!!
See Sistahs I don’t care if I spell it right or wrong . We know what we mean or the others means so those that went the extra mile to say it in Hawaiian I am tickled!!! Even tho many times said or spelled wrong or diffrent can take on a whole other meaning .what counts is we know like all the typos etc .And it sure brought a smile to me so yes for those that took the time everyone of you to wish me a special day. Bless your heart and mahalo from the bottom of mines!!!
As usual lately, I have no cards made for either of my friends’ October birthdays! :(
Karen, I never knew hallucinations could come along with Parkinson’s until I saw it on tv recently. I am so sorry to hear your dad is suffering. (And you, as a result)
Melody, did your husband enjoy his trip?
Karen, I’ve just recently gotten into quinoa. Do you have any good recipes to share?
Kathy! Gasp! That shaving cream design in the emerald greens is GORGEOUS!

Here I am again, popping in for a moment. Sheets and all bedding are all washed and dried, curtains hung, plus upstairs all dusted, and I pooped out and took a long nap yesterday. That walking up and down, up and down the basement stairs, and my legs are not steady on stairs anyway, just wore me out.
Today we have to pick up the folding bed from the rental service, drag it down the stairs and get it arranged with a table at the head for DB’s CPAP machine, get both beds made. DH vacuumed again. I need to finish dusting the bedroom and then the downstairs is done. Run the vacuum upstairs. Go buy rugs and towels. Sigh. I am going to be so glad when they arrive and everything is done.

More prayers quietly requested for DH and the DSS3 situation. He got a text at 6 AM this morning spewing and spitting out that DD3 is tired of his new GF and living with her, and he’s moving back home to the ex and kids who are the alcoholics and drug addicts, and he’s not bringing the GF to the wedding tomorrow. Now DH is afraid DD3 will bring the ex, and no one wants her there, plus he’ll get his usual drunk on and start mouthing off, which is what he does. DH is afraid the day will be wrecked because of DD3. And I can’t say a word because that’s what happened at our reception. DD3 brought the ex and one daughter (after being expressly told they would NOT be welcome), and we had to hide all purses and cards because she’s such a thief. I’m sorry. I’m venting here, and this is no place for it. Anyway, if you could whisper a prayer for a peaceful and lovely wedding and reception, I would be so grateful. Thank you so much.

You guys need to bring along a couple of big police officer friends...
DH said he enjoyed the trip. He went running every morning about 4:00. The days were pretty structured, going to about 6 places every day, but they did have one day to go out on their own.
Good morning! It is a lovely day here and both girls are at school. I don't know how DD1 is feeling this morning but she is at school so she must have felt better this morning....hopefully it will last this time. Me, on the other hand, I am not feeling so well this morning. I haven't eaten breakfast...I'm a little afraid to do so.
Kandie - I'm sure you will be very happy to have it all done and have them there. It has been exhausting getting ready. Congrats on losing 2 pounds! And definitely praying for you all and the wedding, that things will be calm and drama free.
Melody - glad your DH had a good trip. Everyone I know who has gone to Israel has had a wonderful experience.
Oh Kandie, it's horrible when you have to worry about stuff like that. Maybe you could assign a family member or two to watch for her. I've heard of people doing that at funerals for unwanted guests! I will certainly pray that the wedding day goes off without a hitch!
I just got home from picking up the girls. They get out early on Fridays. However, it took us a while to get home. DD2 went into a store that has caught my eye but I hadn't made it in there yet. She went there with a friend and told me about it. So after picking them up, we went to check it out. It had always caught my eye because it says "art supplies" up outside the building. I didn't realize, until today, that it is actually a combination art supply store/Hallmark store/gift store. There is quite an interesting assortment of product in there and a nice supply of art stuff - including some paper that looks like mulberry paper! It was fun to browse but I was good and didn't spend any money. DD2 bought herself a kneaded eraser though.
Ok I went to the closet and got my broom too cobwebs and all!! Lol Think I’ll wear my Glenda costume for now!! But I reserve the right to change as needed ,,...hehehe
