Question What type/color pens do you use on dark CS?

I'm just getting into stamping and have made a few cards that have dark blue CS. What pens do you use to write on the inside with? I would like to start using black CS as my base but I don't have any pens that I can write on it with. Do the gel pens work? THose metalic pens? What's the best brand/type to get?

I'm pretty new at this myself, but I've used white gel pens and they've worked wonderfully. For myself, I like the look of the lighter shade of gel pens on my dark cs. You can get gel pens pretty much at any craft store, I've even found some at the local dollar store in the school supply section. If I need just one or two colors, I'll usually cruise on in to a specialty store (Archivers, Scrapbookers dream....etc.), as they usually sell them seperately.

You can also just cut a piece of copy paper to 5-1/4 x 4" and layer that inside to write in. That's what I do with my darker based cards.

I nearly always make an insert for my cards, whether the card is pale or dark. I like the elegant and professional look that it gives.

I use greetings card factory with my own verses to print on the inserts. The verses I get online.
