Scrappin' Challenge 2019Can you believe this is our 11th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2018 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2019! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2019! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2019 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc19mar"

I had a great suggestion this evening for March VSBN so I updated our process! I love when we share ideas ...
It was suggested that we make the "FOULS" process a "separate" challenge so if you want to play along, there are more points to gain but if you don't want to do that challenge, you don't have to and can still play
Also, just a "reminder" for the March VSBN, we said any part of the layout chosen would work for the "Scraplift" so if the page had 3 brads and you used 3 brads, that counted.

I will be here tomorrow with scrappy hopes of doing 20 pages this month.
I did 12 last month as I did not count the junque journal pages I did cause there weren't always pictures and it was a much smaller size than I normally think of for my scrap books.
Hi ladies, I am so envious and also feeling guilty.....I did not achieve my February goal..... I'm still in February and am determined to finish what I wanted to do before I move onto March. I will hop into March when I'm done....it's come way too quickly for me.
I will come back when I'm out of February

Ha! No worries Jayne! As you finish your pages for Feb challenges go ahead and count them in the March Madness point totals. You get points for doing past challenge pages, too! I’m thinking it’s a good time to take a look for ones I may have missed in the past!
Quick check-in as it's nearly 9pm here and I'm stuffed after a busy weekend.
I've just posted my last LO's for February...whoohoo...and managed to achieve 5/6 for the month so I am happy.
My YTD is 9.
My goal for March will only be 4 as we are away for most of 1 week this month visiting my MIL and have a few commitments. I will get my head around this months challenge tomorrow.
Have a wonderful day and week everyone.
Happy scrapping

Jayne, remember that it is a good thing to play with your photos and supplies, whenever you can! Enjoy your visit and what time you do get to scrap or make cards - it's all a blessing.

I’ve been checking out your LOs ladies..great job.
Joyce Ann, I agree. I’ve decided that chores will always be there and I’m forever chasing my tail with them. As long as my home is presentable for visitors that’s all that matters. Time is so precious to us now and we have decided that we will do what brings us joy....our golf, our hobbies and of course seeing our poppets and kids. I’m even cutting down on catchups with friends as I was always out and making the initiative to meet. I enjoy the catchups now that they are less frequent and I have time instead of just fitting them in. It takes the pressure off.
Today is a public holiday....it’s also hot. We usually do chores but today I’m going with the flow and have no expectations. I hope to at least start a list of what I’m going to do this month craftwise and print off the challenge instructions.
We head down to see my MIL in a few weeks and then head overseas in April so I’m away that month. Time is moving quickly...eek.
On that note, time for me to start seizing the day.
Happy day and crafting.

Thanks Amy for this but I somehow would feel guilty as I've counted them against my February goal. I shall start afresh from this week.
Do I still have time to do your foul? LOL.
Happy scrapping

Happy Monday....I finally got out of my nightie and seized the day at 1.30pm LOL.
I'm now making a list of challenges and getting my head around the VSBN. Is the list of points on the first page the one we use?
Amy, will check out your foul LOL....I will do it. Have fun

Ignore my query about points...I finally found all of the links and have printed off the 3 points pages. I think I am going to like this challenge. Gives me lots of options. Well done Lela...awesome challenge. I'm in.

Okay... somewhere I read that we couldn't post any other layout before we had posted out "FOUL" page. Since mine is posted now that I have internet back up. I thought I might share a couple of other projects that I finished this past weekend at our "Swap and Crop".
First project was our paper piecing class... IRISH BLESSING
and next is my DPS from our swap challenge. We had so much fun, I just have to share... SO for this challenge we were suppose to bring a double page background all made up and a large envelope full of scraps, stickers and embellishment that we dumped into the center of the table. We then drew numbers and swapped the background with other people based on the number we drew. We then had 30 minutes to complete the DPS using the photos that we brought and anything we chose to use from the center of the table. It was so much FUN! Here is my DPS... Winter at the Canyon
I posted some photos on S2S and the photography thread of our sunset last night if anyone is interested...off to play soon... yay.

Amy, I’ve nearly finished your foul...just have to add the title and embellishment. May not finish tonight as it’s dinner time here now and I’m out tomorrow for most of the day....will post tomorrow when I can. Thanks for the challenge.

good morning everyone!
here are a couple of projects for last Saturday's Inspirational Challenge that my granddaughters and I made as we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday last week.... "Bring on Your Dragons"
I was so close to completing my goal for February, but I didn't. So, I will just add that to my march goal of 6. I hope to get that many done because my folks are coming to visit us for the first time in Idaho at the end of the month.
I'll have to check out the March Madness VSBN.
YTD: 6
March Goal: 6

Would you like a March Madness "FOUL"? I can arrange for one... lol
So I got 21 layouts done during Feb. The brings my YTD to 41 my goal for March will be 30. Sorry I'm late to update. The 4 year old had surgery on Monday and she is just starting to feel better. I looked at the March madness rules and it sounds fun, but I just don't think I have gas in the tank for it this month.
Andy hope your little poppet is going ok. Come back and play when you can. Take care
