You're making me laugh Su. . . You're just like KelliJo. . .;) You can't say "Boo" without her freakin' out. . .;)
MWAH!
so glad you can jlaugh at my expense:mrgreen: I am such a chicken (picture a cute chicken dancing here because I am sure if I could navigate the internet better I could find one to stick on)
I personally like the hold on the Copic Ciao, but the sketch seem to last longer and/or hold more ink. I have ordered from All That Scraps and from Gina K, she had a marker club that I joined for 6 months, I was able to get an entire set of 36-6 markers a month for 6 months, which was nice. Then I've ordered individual markers from All That Scraps, there prices are pretty good and they don't charge for shipping over $25.00. Hope that helps!
I would think this would be so much more gratifying after you reached safety.
Ummm yea, I think the cops got the best "kick out of it". Cause they asked if he had any distinguishable feature and I said "uhhh yea, he's got a NEW limp".
Wow, you are lucky to have your grandmother around for so long, how old was she? Is your grandfather still here? How are your parents? Be sure to take care of yourself and not get too overwhelmed!
Grandma was 98 with Alzheimers. Granddad passed away more then 35 years ago. My mom's taking it real bad. There was some family drama and chaos with funeral arrangements/service. I'm just glad my sister was there so there was two of us keeping it together. We all decided we're being cremated after this experience
Thanks Yoorah! Your box is going postal today finally.....Hard to get to the PO working 10 hour days during the week but today is my off-day  I'll just have to bundle up! (It's TEN DEGREES out right now!)
Unfortunately, those are V. hard to get up here! Only the bad guys have guns here... We get the automated calls from the PD saying that "there has been another rash of crime in our neighborhood." Apparently, in order to combat this, you need to be in good shape and very flexible...that way you can bend over and kiss your A** goodbye when the criminals show up to take whatever they want!
Two weeks ago, the neighbor upstairs had her car tires slashed & the car vandalized twice - LESS THAN 20 FEET from our front door! The 'bad guys' here are brazen, slick, and unafraid to do whatever they want. We see the police out on patrol in the parks, or parked to catch speeders, but the crime rate is through the roof and rising here! :(
Happy birthday wishes from me also! Sorry I'm not on much any more. This working is wearing me out, plus I am trying to get some things done for Christmas. If it weren't for Liz (granddaughter who lives with us), I think I would just skip Christmas this year. It is just too much work! My cards are made--but not addressed. I have no decorations up--in fact, my house needs to be straightened even before decorations could be put up! I usually make several type of cookies and candies--and don't know when I will. Working and then napping takes up so much time. Bah Humbug!!!!! I don't even stamp anymore.
As far as I know all the Copic markers have two ends, the differnce between the markers are the shape of the marker and the amount of ink they hold. The sketch markers are oval in shape, the original are square, and the caio are round.

*hug*hug*hug*
Sandye, we are in the same overworked and super Grinchified boat! I have gifts wrapped, no tree up ( mess?? umm.. yeah, that, too... ), no decorations out and cards?? Ha! I've started digging through last year's leftovers and my swap cards to see what I can utilize to get out of making some.
Were it not for the rugrats, I'd ditch this whole Christmas thing and just take a vacation over the holiday. Cheaper and a LOT less stressful! LOL
We'll both get through it... and be glad when it's over!
Hello all just checkin in'. My uncle came over to auntie flo's for a visit so I hurried on down there before we left. He's doing okay. Looks like he will have more surgery to come still, very thin, will be going through more chemo/radiation etc again but he's in really good spirits for what he has had to go through. Auntie and I went to the pub for lunch, and I brought home a boatload of Clam Chowder with me for dinner. Now I have to get my place picked up, as Laurel is coming over to stamp in about 2 hours. ;)
You know it doesn't make much sense
There ought to be a law against
Anyone who takes offense
At a day in your celebration
Cause we all know in our minds
That there ought to be a time
That we can set aside
To show just how much we love you
And I'm sure you would agree
It couldn't fit more perfectly
Than to have a world party on the day you came to be
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
I just never understood
How a man who died for good
Could not have a day that would
Be set aside for his recognition
Because it should never be
Just because some cannot see
The dream as clear as he
that they should make it become an illusion
And we all know everything
That he stood for time will bring
For in peace our hearts will sing
Thanks to Martin Luther King
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Why has there never been a holiday
Where peace is celebrated
all throughout the world
The time is overdue
For people like me and you
Who know the way to truth
Is love and unity to all God's children
It should be a great event
And the whole day should be spent
In full remembrance
Of those who lived and died for the oneness of all people
So let us all begin
We know that love can win
Let it out don't hold it in
Sing it loud as you can
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
Ooh yeah
Happy birthday...
We know the key to unify all people
Is in the dream that you had so long ago
That lives in all of the hearts of people
That believe in unity
We'll make the dream become a reality
I know we will
Because our hearts tell us so

How's your two man Euchre hand?
I've never played Euchre! If you lived closeby, I'd learn! ;) Someday I swear I'll open an all night hang out for craty insomniacs to hang out...! ;)
Seriously...I don't think they should call it "insomnia", I think they should call it "inSCRAPPYa"! That way they could refer to someone who slept well as an "UNscrappyac"!
