I had only ONE Copic Marker (C0 for shadows) when I attended the certification course. I am VERY glad I went. It was well worth the time and money spent for the class, as well as the 450 miles each way I traveled to get there.
Needless to say, I now have LOTS more than just one Copic marker now.
I say go for it... if you want to learn how to use the products more effectively and you want to teach others how to use them... then do it! I get to go and I just can't wait!!!

That is so awesome! I would love to go to one but I don't think they offer them near me. Let me know if you hear of them offering in NY or CT. I think the closest is Boston.
I'll be attending the class in Seattle on Thursday. I am so-o-o excited! BC Sherrie - I'm looking forward to meeting you. Marsha
I look forward to meeting SCSers! So cool! It will be a crazy early morning for me as I will be driving 2.5 hrs to get there....I can't tell you what state I might look like after beating back the Seattle traffic....lol!
Shut up! I will finally get to meet you in person!
Yeeeeeeee! (I actually SCREAMED when I read this)
I can't believe that I am going to meet you Gina... I have wanted to stop in to your store on one of our "trips" back home but we don't normally head your way... this will be sooooo awesome!
I can't wait!

I have been trying to get a registration form and/or information about the Milwaukee one for weeks now. I get no response from my emails to the contact person at Copic. Any ideas how to get them to respond????

I just sent an email asking about the Boston course...I don't use Copic's yet, but I'd love to learn the techniques. The Boston course is sometime in the fall so I have time yet.
I just signed up for the Seattle July 19th class! I am sooo excited! Maren, I'm so disappointed to miss a chance to finally meet you (Maren and I were hostesses for the last SCS VSN, and she was my Secret Sister). Sherrie BC, I am really excited to meet you. Your videos were some of the very first that I watched to learn how to use the few Copics that I had at the time. Your blog is one I stalk every day. Anyone else signed up for the Seattle July 19th class?!!
I didn't see how much the class was on the site. I might consider this for next year but how much will I have to save?
Ann, it appears from the application that I received that the Seattle, Milwaukee, Chicago and Kansas City classes are $85 for a seven hour class. It says that the price for Boston/East Coast is TBA. Hope this helps!

Darn!! I would have loved to hang with my big sis all day! :-) You generously sent me some of my first copics! I think that craftycaro is signed up for the 19th.

Thanks, Karolyn. Really not a bad price for such a long class. I hope they do again next year!

I am surprised because Marianne has been super in responding to my MANY emails... and quickly. I would check to make sure you have the correct addy.
She didn't receive my first email so I tried from a different account and she got it. Sometimes they get filtered out as spam. I would definitely try again!

nope- I think she is signed up for the 18th as well.
The date for the Boston class is TBD for now, I got an email response back saying I would be added to the mailing list and got a general info sheet as well.
Need to figure out if this will be worth the expense of buying the Copics etc. I will need for the class.
