Default Design Studio and a MAC

I really want a MacBook but I have to be able to use it my scrapbook room so I really need it to run design studio. Is there anyway to do this, some kind of software that helps it run, I don't know but I don't want to settle for a computer I don't want just for my cricut but I will have to.. Please tell me there is a way to make it work!!!!

Thanks
Jen

You can run any windows program on a Mac if you use a program called Parallels. I've never tried it myself but if you google parallels, you can get more info. Keep in mind that you'll also have to purchase windows Vista or XP to run with your parallels program. It might be worth it for you. Good luck!

Actually, I believe all the new Mac computers come with the capability of running a Windows operating system without buying any additional third party software. The feature in the Mac operating system that does this is called Boot Camp. Boot Camp allows you to boot up an alternate system instead of the Mac system at boot up. Parallels (or VRFusion) will allow you to run both operating systems side by side and not require you to quit out of one to boot up the other. Either way, you will still need a valid copy of a Windows operating system to install.
