Glad you had fun even if it was full of (pun intended) lame ducks.
a word of caution on the MARC: it only runs M-F so any weekend plans you need to pick up a train at an actual METRO station. Learned that the hard way our first weekend in town....

Oh, yes! I'm just trying to decide what to make. So ready for stamping though! As if I haven't been stamping today.lol
Can't wait to see your cards! Because I'm still not sure about the one card I made for it. I might have to come up with something else on friday, we'll see.
Tracy, glad you had fun in DC! Sorry you had to deal with the poor lame duck! We rode one of those when we went to the Wisconsin Dells, you're right, they sure are noisy but we didn't have any breakdown with ours. The tour guide we had was a hoot, we had a ball!
I'm definitely ready for a stamping day with you all on Friday! I did manage to get a bunch of stamping in over the weekend and yesterday, mostly catching up on my RAK Welcome cards and BRAK cards for July. I need to starting thinking about my swap cards, I haven't even begun to come up with any ideas yet!

You really sound like you are starting to feel better. I'm glad you have been able to catch up on some stamping. Maybe on friday you will be able to finish a card you want to do for one of the swaps.
Anyone know of a good Ikea around here? I need an Ikea fix I love that store!
I know DH googled for one. It's not real close, but we did go several weekends ago. I can say weekends there not fun! But did have some fun spice containers that would be great to alter, but I wasn't willing to stay in line for an hour!
Amanda and I just got back from Big Lots and if any of you like Basic Grey items you might want to check out the Big Lots near you. They had some of their ribbon, chipboard and matchbook sets, at great prices.
Hello Ladies, By chance do any of you have any insect dies or good size punches? If so would you PRETTY PLEASE bring them to Tracy's house on Friday. THANK YOU! It's for my sons pre k class.

I think I may have one of those small butterfly punches. I'm not real sure what all there is since I don't use alot of the once that hurt my hands.lol I'll try and go through them before you get here so they can be out for you. Otherwise, you can dig through the messy box for them.
Amanda, if you are still looking for an Ikea, after the Baltimore swap, you could head to the one in White Marsh. It's about 5 minutes from the location of the swap and close to 95 if you are heading back down home that way.

Oh wow thanks for the tip. I almost have my swap complete! Can't wait!

We went to the Ikea in College Park. It seemed pretty nice. But it was super busy on the weekend. I actually went 2x in one week when I was setting up my craft area after we moved here last month.

LOL! I know what you mean. DH and I went on a saturday and the lines were like an hour wait in all of them. Left empty handed since I didn't want to wait for the spice jars I have in hand.
How are you doing? I'm worrried about you. We sure did miss not being able to meet you in person friday. Take an easy so you will be well rested for the 9th.
I just got home from M's I picked up several flyers with 40% coupons for next week if anyone needs one. Ahhhhh crap it's hailing ahhhhhhh MY CAR! Got to go!

Did you like that hail storm or what? Still have internet, so maybe they really fixed it for awhile. AcMoore sent email coupons for 40% off an item and 60% of custom framing, if anyone needs one let me know I can forward the email to you so you can have the coupons too.

Hi Tracy! I'm doing better today than I did the last two days. I'm still having some problems with my left side, it seems if I'm on my feet too much for one day I really feel it, not sure exactly what's going on. I do have one small area of my incision on the left side that hasn't quite healed all the way and is still draining a little, especially if I do too much! I've really stayed off my feet since Friday so that has helped a lot. If it continues this week I think I will call the dr. and see what he says. I know he did a lot of repair work so maybe it just needs a longer time to heal than I've experienced in the past. Thanks so much for asking about me, that's so sweet of you! I was really disappointed not to be able to come over on Friday and meet everyone. Don't worry, I'll be very good for the next 2 weeks so I'll be all ready to go for the 9th! I'm determined I'm not going to miss that!
Glad your internet is still working! It really shows me how addicted to SCS I am when my internet or power goes out, which thankfully isn't too often!
