two questions

Well, I'm quite new to this and have been reading all the forums and the stories, which I love. However I have come across quite a lot when needs explanation and guess I will learn as I go, but I do have two questions for now:
What is a RAK?
and when I set my profile picture, it doesn't come up when a post a reply or questions..how do I do that?

A RAK is a Random Act of Kindness...send a card to someone Just Because. A BRAK is a birthday RAK...a CCRAK is a Challenge Chasers RAK--the cards people make when they do the weekly challenges, then they send them to other people so they don't just sit around the house.

As for the other question, a profile picture is different from an avatar--the avatar is the little picture you see under a person's name when they post. There's a link to upload your avatar if you click on your name where it says Welcome, scrapinrose in the upper right hand corner. Hope that helps!

RAK is random act of kindness. You can join the SCS RAK groups--click on your name at the top right, then click Group Memberships on the left menu. Click "join" by the RAK group.

Make sure when you set your picture, that you click "save changes." Oh, and your "avatar" is the one that shows when you post. It is separate from your profile picture. :-)

Oh, thanks so much for the quick replies...I did fix up my avatar, so I help it works...and I will look out for RAKS and BRAKS ! :-D
