Lynn could you come over with your hammer and sort out my boots, only bought them just before we left just in case it rained, tried them on in the shop and they felt fine, tried them on yesterday and the left foot catches my toes, thankfully they weren’t expensive!
Just waiting for the rain to stop so we can go for a walk, steve has taken DIL to the supermarket and P.O. so ten minutes of quiet time!
I gotta use the hammer on my boots a bit more! Jan where would you like me to send it when I am done?! Lol
I am up and need to get my head on straight.. wonder if the hammer would work on that? Hmm I do still need to figure out what to pay myself for the pocket pages... Hmmm... I think tea is in order while I ponder.
Uuugghh! The weather doesn't like me... It was a super... Blue..blood moon! So super cause it is close to the Earth and looks bigger. Blue cause it is the second in the month... Red cause it was a lunar eclipse and during the eclipse the moon looks red.
Since we are not West, it just looked like a moon! We even got up while still dark to see it at 5:30 this morning. Went out every few minutes, but just looked like a moon. LOL

Sorry.. should have said Photoshop elements! In the scrapping thread I showed 2 completely different layouts for the same photos and was trying to explain something.. what? Who knows? My caffeine has worn off ! Lol
I can't remember the little cannon printer any more grumpy has it. But if you explain what you are trying to do I might be able to find an article to help you.
I actually found a video and she recommended an app , so I downloaded MOLDIV app on my ipad, and have been able to print smaller photos. So, at least I figured that out. But still trying to figure out some other things. I will get it, maybe! LOL Thanks. When I figure out what I am trying to do and can explain it, I will take you up on your offer to help! LOL

Quite a bit of what I do in PSE is create the size I want to print out... As in the size of the pocket.. then I play with a picture inside that size... Umm even I don't understand that! Lol
Ok starting again...I print on 4x6 paper. So I go into PSE and create a new document that is 4 x6. Nowoi look at the picture size I need... Let's say 3x4... The keyboard is going crazy again... I want a final size picture of 3x4 so I need to use the retangular Marquee tool ... With a FIXED size of 3x4.. and put that on the page... I use the fill bucket to fill it with black so I can see it... I add a layer...I bring my photo on to this new top layer... If I alt click on the 'line' between the 2 layers.. in the layers panel.. I have clipped the photo to the 3x4 square I made... Then if I click on the top layer which is the photo..I can move the photo around in that confined square...I can make it bigger or smaller within the square without changing the fact that I want a 3x4 picture printed in the end....
Ok the keyboard is making me Battier than usual.. let me do it on the computer later

Lynn, the moon looked awesome here...blood red. I tried to take photos of course and it just looks like a shiny blob and then nothing :p so I shall print some off the net that professionals took. Wonderful sight to watch.
Happy day.....I did 2 more Pocket Pages...well 1.3/4 and just about to complete it.;)

Totally forgot to look at the moon! Mind you we didn’t have our evening meal until after 8pm as our son was late home and by the time everything was cleared away and tidied it was bedtime!
It was a strange day in Lynn-land! So I went and got some moccasins for my friend to try on... I made a special trip to the bakery for her husband...went to their place... The shoes didn't work... Her hubby loved the bakery stuff... She wanted to go to the grocery store but could barely walk so I forced her to give me her list...this was not my normal store so I was running around trying to find stuff on the list.. this guy starts talking to me.. I am polite..then I need to call my friend to ask about the list.. I continue.. there is the guy again.. ok.. need to make one more call... He finds me in the bread area .. introduces himself and asks if he will see me here again... Sorry no not my usual store...so he says he can give me his phone number.. I get flustered and say sorry I am not interested... Finished everything get to my car.. then I realized he was trying to pick me up!!! I started giggling! I giggled all the way to my friends place! Lol
So then I go to the mall to return the shoes...do the return.. go to the food area.. get something to eat...sit down... a tall man with a helmet..with foil..with ribbons sits down across from me.

Never a full moment.
Now Lynn, don't leave us in suspense...and then what...did he chat you up LOL? Happy weekend

Wow, Lynn, you are such a magnet for the men lately! Always love your stories!
About PSE, what version do you have? I am working with 14. What did you mean by "Clip"? Can you explain that to me? Also, in my older version (10) I could "cut" a shape, such as a star or heart - whatever, I can't find that in 14.

UUGGHH I answered somewhere else again! LOL I am just not sleeping so I am getting people confused.
remember we used to have those plastic cutting guides. you put the photo down...you put the desired shape on top ...then you cut the photo to that shape.
ok ..in PSE you have a clipping mask and you do it backwards.
1- you create the shape you want the picture to be on a layer by itself
2- put the photo on the layer ABOVE
3-hold down the ALT and click on the line that separates the two layers
the layer with the photo will indent and be CLIPPED to the shape in the layer below
if you then want to change the orientation of the photo.. you need to be on the photo layer
if you want to change the size or shape of the clipping mask you need to be on that layer to affect it
to use a "star" to create the mask...use the custom shape tool..looks like a splat in the image below.. when you click on it you get different options to change the shape to along the bottom of the workspace
HI ladies. Crawling back out. need to get the challenges written in my creative planner so I can keep an eye on them and play. Just not getting a lot of stamping in with Bob being home so may be playing catch up when he goes back out.

Been for a drive to the next town and took GS with us while his mum was studying, we went for a walk on the seafront, took him for breakfast too, hes so well behaved.
It was cold and windy but he enjoyed chasing the pigeons!
Me too, Jan. There was something else I liked... don't remember now what it was but there were 2 on my Must Have list.
I signed up for his on-line (free) classes Now if I just had the new items to play with.

We have had a very strange winter here so far. Extreme cold, then temps above near or above freezing and then really cold again. Twice we have had lots of snow that has almost all melted away. This weekend we have had lots of snow again. I decided to use that idea for a challenge this week. Show some hot and cool colours and/or hot and cold images, etc. My sample is in my gallery and I still have not figured out how to link it with my tablet.
Well had to bite the bullet and pay for the insurance,1479, the lovely girls in the office spent all yesterday trying to find us a cheaper price, she even rang her boss to ask if he could do something for us, they are really lovely girls, its steve fault, it cost 908 extra because he is just turned 67 and with his heart problems, from now on we can only go for 50 days which seeems a long time but it takes us five days to get there and the cost of flights, ferries etc, its no fun getting old especially when the kids live so far away.
Wow Jan. I know that tugs at your heart. But any time with those boys is worth every penny imo

Here's a card I made today for the S2S18E challenge. It's not exactly ribbon, but lace and twine are close so I thought I'd share. I made 3 cards today at our craft group and finished off my tag for my Year in Review Album which I shall post shortly.
Knocked off another $14.50....yay. A friend in our craft group is a SU demonstrator and I went through the catalogue and didn't make one purchase...feeling so proud of myself LOL.
TFL Happy day
