Alcohol markers also work great. Even the water based markers work but you need to let them dry for a bit. I prefer using my alcohol markers because the colors are water proof.

We have a new (and only) Michael's in my town. It's big and while not overflowing with merchandise, it is well stocked. It's also nice and brightly lit through and through.

I like the 6x6 because it allows me to stencil a directional pattern either portrait or landscape. If I want a border around the stenciled area I just mask off the area I don't want stenciled.

This is a good option. I've done this with a few of my retired inkpads.
Another option is to peruse the BST forums and see if anyone has any of the re-inkers in the colors needed.
