My handle froze up too. I use it occasionally so I don' t know why it doesn't work. Never dropped it. Trying the WD40 and hope it works.

I store mine in a plastic storage box a little bit bigger than a plastic shoe box. I also have the plates in there as well. Works great. I do leave them in the original packaging.
