Everywhere!!! I use them in the center of flowers, or on the petals depending on my mood. I use them to add some bling on an image that needs some bling.

Lots of online stores carry them...if you google stickles, I'm sure you'll find tons. Mike's doesn't have them...don't know if any of the other big stores have them (we only have Mike's in Canada). I order mine from Sheila at www.scrappingreatdeals.com She has an amazing online store with all the latest at great prices, and she ships lightning fast!

Hi Judy. Takes a bit of practice with the "Stickles". You might find they dry quicker with just a light layer. If I put too much on it takes forever to dry. HTH!

OK, color me stooopit but they come out of that little bottle the same no matter what I try, should I be putting it on another thing and painting it on or something?? All I get is little balls of stickle that take hours to dry.

Here is a sample of what I use Stickles for. I LOVE using stickles much more that glue & glitter. Same effect but no mess. It does take a bit for it to dry. But if you use a thinner layer it iwll dry in an hour or two. I just set it aside and come back to it later.

I love using stickles for water in a vase. TAC carries them, as does Archiver's. As a rule of thumb, a little dab'll do ya!

If I don't want a dot or a line I use the tip to "paint" it around. Lisa Loiselle, what color do you use for the water? The only blue I have is Waterfall. Debbie

Stickles is generally finer than regular glitter glue. I don't put the stickles on directly from the bottle. Sometimes it comes out too much, or gets stuck, and then you get a blob. I put a little stickles on an old CD, or piece of cardstock, then I pick it up with a toothpick, and apply just a little dab here and there. If you want to outline something, then you have to practice first to be sure to keep the bottle tip slightly above the cardstock, and move along smoothly as possible to get a nice line. I love stickles. I find that a little gives a nice effect, and I allow a couple hours to dry.

I was checking out the stickles Gina K offers and was overwhelmed by the number of colors! There must be 5-6 shades of white.

If I to buy only one bottle to try out, what color would you recommend?

My absolute FAVOURITE colour of stickles is "CRYSTAL". It adds so much sparkle yet you can still see the colour of your stamped image underneath. I use it on everything...LOVE IT!!!

I reccomend Crystal - as it is a transparent color and you can put it on top of any color and it looks great!

Another tip for the colored ones (red, yellow green etc.)- be sure to apply them over an already colored area - for example you don't want to put red stickles on top of a white area - you want to color it in first (any medium will work pencils, chalk etc.) then apply the stickles. That way you do not see the white areas between the glitter pieces.

And definately - less is more especially for drying time! The coloring underneath tip will help you to not have to use as much too though!

i did a scrapbook page using only a swirly stamp and stickles i stamped the stamp all over a baby blue piece of cardstock and then where ever there was little loops or "holes" in the image i put stickles in red --it always gets the most ohs and ahs when people are looking at my little brothers show cattle album and some pages i spent days working on--

I store my stickles upside down in a small glass. This really helps to keep it near the top when ready to use and no clumps.

Usually I color the water a pale blue, like bashful or palette ballet, then use the clear stickles.

I also use Stickles inside eyelets. It turns out so pretty, very similar to the rhinestone brads.

I finally did it, I bought some Stickles. I only bought 3 for now; icicles, waterfall and Xmas red. I am working on some snow and snowmobiling pages and I wanted a little sparkle for the flakes. I bought them at my LSS for $2 each. I applied way too much on one snowflake and it took forever to dry. My next one came out better. I have a gift card to another LSS, I might need more of these. It is so much cleaner and better than glitter and glue. I will be adding more bling now!!!
