I think I read somewhere that you can do that with pearl-ex but you have to add hairspray or gum arabic? to the mix as there is no fixative within the pearl ex and it can just wipe off on you...

I clean with with baby wipes and then use the big zig 2 way glue pen on the whole thing. It works perfect and stays sticky for a long time. I got the ideas from my pink stamper=)
