Placement of image on virtual mat using the Gypsy
Is anyone else having trouble with the placement of the image on the virtual mat before cutting and having the Cricut cut the image in a different place on the actual mat?
I counted the squares on the virtual mat and put my c/s on the actual mat - placed with generous amount around the image. When I tapped on the 'cut' image on the screen, the Cricut cutting blade housing went to the far left to start cutting. There was an image and c/s there but it started cutting farther in than the image on the virtual mat so I ran out of c/s.
I tried again placing the images farther apart on the virtual mat. Still couldn't seem to get the Cricut to cut exactly where I had an image and c/s.
Another question - If I plug a cartridge into the Cricut, can I use the 'load' button on the machine? Trying to juggle the Gypsy so I can see the screen, hold the mat and tap on the 'load' button on the screen isn't easy!
Sorry this post got so long but am trying to make Christmas cards and use my cardmaking tools.
TIA
