Honestly, the SU Big Shot is the EXACT same machine as the regular Big Shot except the logo is different. If it were me, I would just keep the one you have and mention you got it before SU offered...

Any die that Sizzix has ever made will work with the Big Shot. A lot of competitor dies will work with it...
