Thanks for the comment and the great tip about expanding 8X8 to 12X12. I would have never thought about it. I found that 6x6 was a bit too small for most things I want to do, but my perfectionism makes 12X12 a way too overwhelming project for me.
I have actually finished up eight more pages this weekend.

Here's a page I finished yesterday for my son. Last week for his birthday I gave him a framed *Future Golf Pro* page of my 2-yr-old DGD and promised one of my 6-yr-old DGD this week. So, here it is:

Okay... I have a couple of questions that crossed my mind and thought the answers might be helpful to the new comers.
1) What are the rules for the Scraplift Challenge? Are they like the other one where we scraplifted after each other or are we all scraplifting from Wendy's page?

2) Where do we post our Wednesday Wishes?
My understanding is we are just using Wendy's but don't know why I think that :-) I'm working on mine today.
I'd post Wednesday wishes in the thread and most likely Lela will catch it and move it; maybe be sure to put Wednesday Wish in the Title area.
Again, I'm just assuming and Lela may have different answers.
Hello, i'm having a very productve few days. i have finished 20 pages. i'm so stoked! last month i only finished 5 pages. anyhoo i'm excited! i will upload soon(ds took my camera to school). oh, it's all due to being inspired challenges.THANKS to SC.

I think this thread has lit a fire under a lot of us--at least it has for ME! I just wish I'd started sooner! Thanks, Lela for keeping everything going here and thanks to all you scrappy friends who help to keep me motivated!

Lela, i also went through my gallery and my finished stack of pages. i counted back to the beginning which for me was June. so here are all my totals up to date. i'm so excited!
June goal 10/60 did 55 YTD 55
July goal 50/150 did 52 YTD 107/150
Aug goal 31/187 did 5 YTD 112/187
Sept goal 56/187 currently 22/56 YTD 129/187...........yeah!

Thank you for your comments, much appreciated. I have determined I am much happier with my layouts if I stay with the blocked, square or rectangular layouts which is sad because I probably have every shape maker Creative Memories ever made. Oh well, they are good for card making.

I counted what is in my gallery and I am at 72 pages for my year to date total. My goal for the year will be 120 pages so I will update my signature with this now.

I was wondering about that! I wanted to see it :( Why don't you try to edit in the picture - maybe there was a problem with the title? I've heard that you must make the name of the actual photo before you upload it, or it might be deleted. For example, my camera calls everything "DSC#" - and so might many others.' So if I upload a photo called "DSC322" there could be a cross-over. I hope that makes sense.

and "ourshortgrandma" (Belle) - I agree that I prefer to stick to the simple layouts with nothing too fancy. I just love using colours and papers!

OK, I am in awe of you guys! I just discovered this challenge -- what an excellent one! I'm going to lurk and see how it goes -- I'm on a zero budget/use up my stash kick anyway. I have 2 different crops in October, which is when I usually get my stuff done....

Ok, i'm doing my second version of the Tami's Thusday challenge. i LOVE this layout! i used pics of my ds Kindergarten i was able to cut 13-14 pics to small 2x2's zeroing in on an item to highlight. I would'nt had thought of this,and i usually try and fit as many pics as possible. i have a 1 pg.layout that still has all the volume of a 2 pg. spread. Love it!
