I have 2 pages done but have been so busy at work that I haven't had time to photograph and upload to SCS. In one week I worked over 50 hours of overtime ... glad to say the 4-Star visit has come and gone. I was hoping to get back into my scrap room and work on some more pages this weekend but that didn't happen � I have been nursing a bad knee and will be going to the doctor on Wednesday to see what is going on � have had to use crutches on and off the past month and after standing for 2 days during the visit I have had to use them again this weekend. I twisted it about a year ago and after it healed I started training for a half marathon. A half marathon was one of those things on my bucket list I wanted to do but it seems like jogging and my knee don�t get along and due to the pain decided to nix that idea. I am an avid �spinner� and have to do it on and off depending on how my knee felt. Guess I�ll get the low down from the doctor on Wednesday to see what it will take to fix it and exactly what type of exercise I'll be able to continue doing.

Wow, I just checked out the October goals gallery and there are only 10 photos posted! That made it easy for me to get caught up with comments, but so few pages--a little surprising and disappointing.

Wendy, I was thinking the same thing when I just visited. Okay ladies, you all need to stop doing things like getting married, having babies and birthdays, hurting yourself, cleaning the house, etc., and get down to the real business of life: scrapbooking! (And hopefully everyone realizes I'm kidding!)

Isn't that the truth! LOL! I always have the best of intentions...was planning on getting some scrapbooking done this weekend BUT then we had to go do this and that came up and found fleas on the dogs so I had to strip their bedding and give them baths and etc! WHEW! I did get my project life album up to date...but I never count that in my totals...at least that is SOMETHING! ;) But, I do need to get cracking since I have to do an album for each of my grandmothers for Christmas! EEK! Now if I could just find that pause button that Cheryl talks about...

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
Had a few minutes so I was able to get my 2 pages uploaded to the gallery. Just finished going through the gallery and love everyone�s work. You all inspire me to get my scrapping done!
I couldn't believe it was time again, but it was!! The Inspriation Challenge is posted here. It is easy, so lets get some pages into the October Gallery!
Hello I spent my spare time this weekend getting ready for a SU! workshop I have on Sunday. That unfortunatly left no time for scrapbooking. I"m hoping to get a page or two done this week while my little guy does his homework. He asked me yesterday if we could move his "school table" in to my scrapbook room so he could be closer to his markers. Of course I was all for it because it'll allow me to help him with his school work and scrapbook at the same time.

That's a good way to multi task I'm scrap burnt out after the VSBN.
Besides, I've got LOTS of christmas cards to make so I really need to work on them next and since I've completed my yearly goal for scrapping (thanks to VSBN) I don't feel too guilty by NOT doing any pages right now. I know that doesn't help out the ladies that do their wonderful challenges though...sorry! I do still enjoy reading them though and dreaming if that helps!

So sweet! Treasure these times ... they grow up so fast. When my boys were growing up they always gave me a hug and kiss ... didn't matter who was around. To this day, when we see each other they still have a hug and kiss for mom!

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
Hi everyone! So sorry I have been MIA. I found a tshirt or bumper sticker or something (don't even remember now) the other day that said "I have no life, my daughter's a dancer" Yep, that's me right now. The good news is that we got Emily a car so she can drive herself and, some days her sister, to dance. the bad news is we got Emily a car so my worry meter will go up.
Probably won't get much scrapping done this month. I am doing a multi vendor Open House next month so have lots to do to get ready for it. I have a scrapping retreat next month though! woohoo!!!
I will have a variety challenge for tomorrow and will try to post it tonight because Wednesdays are just crazy for me.
Now, off to try and catch up on the thread while I have a few minutes.
Good morning, I was able to complete 3 more pages last night while my little guys colored in my scrapbook room. Almost meeting my October goal. Here they are:

You can do it! But that sounds like me sometimes too. When I was going through all my digital files to print out pages last month, I actually found 2 pages I started some time (not sure when anymore) but I never finished them. Now I don't even remember what I used to do them...pretty bad and when they are digi, they really are "filed" away

How funny! But, sometimes, I clean up my craft room, and put away pages I am working on, and don't find them for years!!!
But didn't know that could happen with digi! LOL

Busy week here! My birthday was Thursday and I was hoping for an entire day to scrap as a present from hubby this weekend but I was on call and the place was a MESS. Two c-sections, a vaginal delivery, a lady who didn't tell us about a very important complication until she was in labor, and a patient with a narcotic addiction who had a very very sick kiddo. :( Add to that three bar-b-q, a confirmation, and an additional 6 hours in the office to catch up and there was my weekend. So I decided my birthday would just last a whole week so I'm bound to get a good day in there somewhere LOL.
Now my house is a mess but I'm going to bed, the mess will be there when I wake. Maybe this weekend? I wish I wish I wish...

I completed my October goal tonight. This was much needed for me. I have been so slack with my scrapbooking and this was the refresh that I needed. Hopefully I can stay on a roll for the rest of the year.

Wow, Lynley, what a week! You are one busy gal! So, we're both October birthday girls. Belated Happy Birthday! Did you manage to get a cake and blow out some candles at least???
We had rain on my birthday at Disney World, so when they brought me my cupcake with a lighted candle at Cinderella's Castle, I made a wish that the weather would clear up. It took a day and a half, but finally my wish came true, and the rest of the week was nice weather! Maybe your wish to get a day to scrap can come true real soon!

Wow! What a busy doc you are. I hope you get a good day in there somewhere. You and I and Wendy all three are OCT birthdays.
Patti - here's my page: It compares 4 different years my son & DGD(s) had pics taken in the same spot in Disneyland! It's really strange--I already had this page in the works today and it fit your challenge perfectly except for using 4 instead of 2 pics!
I actually have an idea for this challenge (once I get back into doing pages that is). The landscaper FINALLY finished our new patio this week. It's a little late for having BBQ parties like I planned this year but I think the fire pit is going to get a workout as soon as it stops raining every day and lets the wood dry out that we'll be able to burn it. DGS is looking forward to having marshmellows. I found the sticks at Target so I've got in a supply now for lots of friends to join in.
I will catch up on the gallery for a bit then start another page since I have the whole day to my self while hubby is at the football game. I'll have to work in a challenge on one of my pages.
It sounds like every one is busy living life just like me. I'm headed off to see the pictures of our lives.
AAhhhh, it just seems that I've had SO many photo moments lately and not enough scrap time that when I sit down at my Scrap Desk I feel overwhelmed thinking about all the scrap pages I need to get done - LOL! Crazy, hunh? I keep getting the picts printed because I need the camera card cleared and the envelopes are just stacking up.... I scheduled Vacation time Nov and Dec for scrappin' and signed up for a Spring Crop - it's all good.
I sat down tonight to scrap but find I'm exhausted so it's not going to happen but I did get out the picts/papers so it's ready for Tuesday when I'm back home w/ some time.
Off to browse the gallery ... :o

Just wanted to pop in and update, been glancing at your alls pages, going to try and be creative today but been up since 2:30, so we shall see.
Had a fabulous summer with lots of traveling followed up by a great trip to Disney World then the next day ....
I know some of you know that Maddy and I were rear-ended about 5 weeks ago now. She is fine, still complains of headaches and backaches, but hard to say if that is because those are my issues, or what she had a CT and Neck XRay and all came back good.
I found out Thursday that I do have 3 herniated disks in my neck and tons of nerve issues all down my left arm. I have what they call CRPS or RDS or Mediated Pain Syndrome (apparently the name changes every 10 years as they try to understand better what is going on) But my nerves think they are being afflicted somehow all the time on my left side, very annoying and uncomfortable.
Took a month to get our vehicle back and still needs more work, the girl hit us at about 50 MPH and we were at a complete stop, she never saw us. Fortunately she is ok, which dumb-founds me, but I also know she didn't really see the accident coming so not much time to tense up.
So there you have it, stay scrappy, miss you all!
