Good Idea.... and this has already been done It will be announced here and on Facebook.
SCS has a plan for announcements so they don't run on top of each other. Our announcement for the VSBN Mini will be tomorrow, Thursday. Remember, it's the mini with only 2 challenges. We've found for the mini's closer is better because people don't need as much time to work it into their schedule.
The Full VSBN will be adverstised starting on Monday because that's the Main Event
The announcement about the mini VSBN is up on the home page this morning--the heading title looks really cool too!!!!!
My challenge for the 52 week Thursday challenge is do something new. There is always so much new info in the scrapbook world. A challenge that introduces us to something new each week is a great way to keep it new and fresh. New trends, colors, techniques, products, ideas- 52 weeks of learning something new.
Week 4
Aaaah..... January of the New Year coming to a close. In this last week I am singing the praises of new beginnings. Are you embarking on a new journey, looking forward to new challenges, or just happy we are one month closer to spring. I am excited to say the least, I love starting a new.
My challenge to you is to create a new layout with a bit of the past by using vintage sheet music paper. I see lot's of artist using pages from old books, and many paper craft companies have included in their collection vintage inspired sheet music paper. So sing the praises of new by creating with old vintage sheet music papers.
This is great, Tam. Just finishing up a page for your Flowers challenge--my first "paper" page in quite a while!
I had actually thought of using some sheet music on the page but deciced not to on that one. So, now I can use it on another page I have in mind. Thanks for helping to get our creative juices going!
Ladies, Joyce Ann (anniepanda) really needs some prayers sent her way. Actually it's her son and her. I asked her if I could post this and she said she would appreciate it. I can't get into details but if you could please add them to your prayers that would be great.

Gee that week went fast ~ I'm still thinking about your challenge from last Thursday...already falling behind! This is perfect for me and I really need to do it. DD2 just started back to her piano lessons after a year break; I have a very sweet letter from her piano teacher when we decided to take the break and I've been wanting to scrap with it. Now to find the time...

I don't know anyone who has more creative things going on in their life than you, Tam. I haven't a clue how you can get everything done--and you even took on hosting the 52-week challenge this year. You are Super Woman!!
Oh Michele -- I'm so glad to hear that you'll be starting up the Variety Challenge soon as the new hostess. AWEsome news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also noticed that the clock just turned over to 12:00 PM so I can officially say, "Hey, Mini VSBN is tonight!" Hope I get to join you ladies this time.
What great pages everyone is doing! This is so fun!
Several of you expressed that you didn't know what letterboxing was.
Here is a link to Atlas Quest.
Well, back to the gallery to see some more fabulous pages!
Fabulous challenges today for the mini VSBN. these are just a preview to even more fabulous challenges next weekend! If you didn't get to join us today, you still have time to play. You have until next Sunday night to upload pages for today's challenges.
Does anyone know if http://grandmastemplates.com still has an active blog somewhere? I went to her site, love it, but noticed it has not been updated since Aug.
Hey Sharon...I looked up her blog and then clicked on her profile. She is still active on her personal blog Grandma's Scraps if you want to see what she's been up to. It doesn't appear that she is doing the templates anymore though.
I am so excited! I met my January goal of 10 pages today. Thanks to all of you here I have gotten m Mojo back...nothing like making a commitment to get the ball rolling. You Girls Rock!!! I am going to look at the VSBN to see if I can get a couple more done.

Hope you choose to share some of your pages for us to ooh and ahh over. Maybe you can come play along with us this coming weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
