Haven't used vellum in a long time. This WILL be a challenge (it also means I'll need to do a paper page vs. digi!)
Congratulations on becoming a hostess, Sis. I know you will do a great job. When I saw your challenge I remembered I had a tutorial on making digi vellum I will now give it a try, thanks for the challenge!

Gonna be tough to get any scrappin' done -- my DGDs are with us for the weekend--mom and dad are off to Vegas to celebrate DIL's sister's 21st b'day!! Grandma and Pop Pop will be running around!! lol
Hopefully I can at least do some browsing and commenting in the gallery -- there are so many new pages!!

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
Wow do I feel dumb.........Did everyone notice how I spelled characters on my one disney page. Another split coaster kindly pointed it out to me and I felt so dumb. I went looking in my scrap room and sure enough there were the missing letters stuck to my desk under a piece of paper! Guess I need to clean up as I go!

Wow do I feel dumb.........Did everyone notice how I spelled characters on my one disney page. Another split coaster kindly pointed it out to me and I felt so dumb. I went looking in my scrap room and sure enough there were the missing letters stuck to my desk under a piece of paper! Guess I need to clean up as I go!
No worries, Patti - We all have made spelling errors. I still have a few to go back and fix on some of mine. We get so focused on our work and how wonderful it looks (and yours DOES look wonderful!) that we automatically see it the way we envisioned, eventhough it may be spelled wrong. ;) Thankfully, it is an easy fix that you can do and then re-take the picture and nobody will ever know (after you delete your comment, of course)

I've done this many times -- and messed up journaling too. Sometimes it's easier to fix doing digi, but still a pain!
Not to worry Patti - I didn't notice a misspelled "birtday" on my niece's cake until I went to take a photo of it.... I squeezed it in to the best of my ability. I think we get so focused that our mind sees the word spelled correctly because we move from one detail to another so quickly. The page is great and I didn't notice until after you mentioned it here!

Anyone join me for Happy Hour! LOL!! I'm so happy 'cause a friend just told me she's willing to go in on the hotel for Scrapbook Expo and crop (it's a great deal in Orlando, get a room and two free crop tickets for a grand total of $182 (so we are splitting that) :-))...YIPPPPEEEE!!! I'll be planning for the rest of the month; can't tell you the last time I went to a crop. I'm off to make those arrangements, clean my scrap room, and if I have energy get my page done for Cheryl's 52 week challenge :-)

WOW!!! 3 DAYS, HOW FUN! That is a lot of packing to do :-) Where are you going for a 3 day crop?
Here in Michigan (East Lansing) It is a group of SU girls (about 35) We go every spring and fall. So much fun. Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.

This one is still waiting for approval, but I wanted to get it in before Sunday so I'm linking up. This is my last one to make GOAL for the month.. woohoo!
My son keeps believing that Spring comes in March so bring on MARCH... (I say this as it is snowing AGAIN here!) (He keeps asking me if the snow will all be melted in March.... oh how I hope so!)

LOL!! I know how you feel about finding missing items stuck in odd places. And not even notice when taking the pictures. lol
I have to make sure I DO NOT have a trash can sitting close to my desk AND, if something drops I have to WATCH it all the way to wherever it lands. I have mesh drawers under my work table and if it falls it seems to float or flip or fly in the drawers.

My boys would love to come visit Mickey - wish it was in the cards right now!
I thought Zyrtec was supposed to be non-drowsy :rolleyes:.... My son's allergist recommended Alavert. I didn't notice a difference. My husband and I use Allegra -D which just became OTC. That works pretty good, but I found myself sometimes feeling jittery if I used it too many days in a row.

Well, my girls would love the snow...though dd2 got into the pool yesterday but only lasted 15 minutes. I don't normally take allergy med, dd2 was given that last fall. I thought it was non-drowsy too but I get drowsy from non-drowsy meds a lot of the time; I'm super sensitive to stuff. DD1 has prescription Allegra, I'll have to try the OTC next time; thanks for the tips.

I can't believe it's the end of February already! :rolleyes: Whew, it seems this month flew by! I was busy playing VSN yesterday and getting some cards done (stash used) as I'm going to be traveling in March when food poisoning struck last night, ugh. I can't remember being that sick before. I'm finally starting to feel better today so I'm going to give the dog a bath, vacuum, finish the laundry and then finish a layout I started for 2 more pages done this month. I'm headed to a Weekend Crop this month so I hope to get more pages done in March.

Just two more weeks until my scrap retreat! I have busy working on the little gifts for retreat attendees so no scrapping here right now. and guess what? Lela and I will finally meet because she is coming to the retreat! I am very excited to be meeting some of my SCS friends!

I am going to be stalking the forum today for the March goal thread. Feels so good to reach my goal this month. Got another dps in the works, but I think it is going to have to wait until March to get finished and then I will be off to a running start

I've been stalking too...usually I dread seeing the next goal month but I did good in February so no dread this month. March is going to be tough though...
We are supposed to be at Disney on April 10 (Sunday) and leave on April (Friday).
I had a feeling it was that week...the girls have their standardized testing Mon & Tues; Wednesday is Faith Formation & I teach; Thursday I could meet you for lunch but dd2 has Lacrosse so we can't do the evening. Let me know if you're available for lunch on Thursday; we can meet at Downtown Disney or anywhere you like if you're available.
Hi Ladies! I totally blew off scrappin' this month. :confused: Not sure what happened to me exactly. At any rate, I'm going to reconfigure my goals for the year and I plan to join you all in the March thread when Lela gets it started.
GOAL!
I was doing better than most until yesterday...we need rain to wash some of this pollen away! I took a Zyrtec for the first time and slept for 12 hours!
