Well I've been working on a mini book and I'm close to done, just a few more touches! I'm so excited to share it. I love it!

Well I've been working on a mini book and I'm close to done, just a few more touches! I'm so excited to share it. I love it!

I have done 3 pages thus far for February...hope to post them tonight...been quite busy this past week with work and school - of course both classes post a test for the same week :/ Anyway, I am working on the tests so haven't had much time to scrap but maybe a couple minutes here and there...

Well I got stopped on Sunday by a family emergency. It has been difficult to get started again. So I did the last challenge where you clean up! Maybe I can finnish the challenges now. Still have three more to do, I think.

Wonderful page, Sharon. come on over and join us at the Stamp 2 Spend challenge thread! The ladies over there are so supportive. I actually went to HL today and spent less than $2 and I have been in the scrapbook section! :o

Anyone else that wants to use what you have come one over and join us. We call it Stamp 2 Spend because we give ourselves credit for making cards, pages, etc. We also deduct any money we spend on craft stuff. The goal is to be in the black and only spend if we have earned it. That's what the S2S amount is in my siggy.
I am impressed with all of the pages everyone has been doing for VSBN. Sharon you are really going great guns. I am finding it hard to get into the swing of things this month, I don't know what happened. Oh well, there is still time............

My goal for February is to get 4 new pages done, get the ones I have done uploaded and in the books and to make 4 Christmas cards. ok Ladies, I have gotten 6 pages done for February...but am not at ALL happy with the photos I have tried to take of them...so I will keep trying...how is everyone else doing? Oh and I have recently been turned on to Allison Davis' sketches...WOW...I think a purchase of one or more of her books might be in my future!

I'm going to have to take February off. I'm doing final prep for my daughters baby shower, just became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and prepping for workshops, making samples with their product, etc.
Hopefully I can be back in March. I got so much done for January, I really hate to not do this for February.

Okay, we are moved back into the city, life is good!!! We found we are too old and not rich enough to live on and acreage in the country LOL. I am ready to play again. My goal for February is to get 4 new pages done, get the ones I have done uploaded and in the books and to make 4 Christmas cards. Good to see all of you here again and what amazing things you have all been up to!!!
Welcome! Everyone has made me feel welcome, as I just started with the scrapbooking part of SCS this year. They have already helped me get a lot of scrapping done!
Here is a page I just uploaded for the Shout VSBN Challenge.
I have one more challenge. I am just not coming up with ideas. I had these pictures laying out, but couldn't come up with an idea of how to scrap them.
Finally, I mimiced the rooftop of the gingerbread house. Then on looking at it , I can't even tell that is what I did. What do you think?

I know mine turn out better when I use natural light. Try setting up a area near a window where the light streams in. I know I don't care for mine when I do mine at night with the lamp (& I have an Ott light).

Good Morning Ladies!!! Well I have a few hours free this morning so I'm going to try to complete the page I have on my desk today in between loads of laundry and some cleaning. I'm off to unload the Cookie Truck with Girl Scout Cookies though at 10:30...of course the heavier rain is suppose to start 11 AM to 2PM...which is my shift for unloading the truck...uuuggghhh, the joys of volunteering ;-)

My challenge for the 52 week Thursday challenge is do something new. There is always so much new info in the scrapbook world. A challenge that introduces us to something new each week is a great way to keep it new and fresh. New trends, colors, techniques, products, ideas- 52 weeks of learning something new.
Love is in the air! Love is a beautiful thing! With Valentines Day just around the corner the word love is being used as visual candy everywhere you look. Let's continue our celebrating love by using the word "L O V E".
I challenge you to use to use the word "L O V E" on your layout. You can use it in your title or as an embellishment but it should be used as a visual focus. Using it in a "new" way that stands out right along with your photos.
As a bonus try using Valentine inspired colors, I love shades of pink or red.

OKay, here are the five pages I got done last night. I was really in a summer mood when I chose my pictures, LOL! Guess I am ready for the snow to go away! And I'm not even in a part of the country that's been pounded!

Anything you would like help with just ask I find it odd when people ask me to teach them sometimes because half the time I argue with myself as to whether or not I like my own layouts! LOL! Ha! I completely understand, most of my ages are more basic/simple and sometimes i look at them and thing "something's missing" or "do I really like this??" But then I put it in my book and the more I look at it, the more I like it!
