I'm just throwing this out there. Would you all rather more group projects or more things in your goodie bags? I am afraid that donations are a thing of the past as I was not able to secure any again this year. In the first 4 or so years, our goodie bags consisted mainly of donated items so they were good and now I'm trying to decide what to do. I, personally, think that group projects are a way better use of funds, but our post does say that everybody gets a goodie bag and don't want to have any issues because they are not as good as they used to be. I am thinking that we are all gathering to hang out and visit while we craft, so projects are the way to go, what's your opinion??

HI Laurie, I don't think that anyone will be coming from the Elmira gathering yesterday, most of the people that I talked to that lived close enough had plans, but some wanted info for the Syracuse gathering. I was a good day yesterday but different. I look forward to your Rochester gathering.
Oh, and I vote projects, I don't come for the goodie bag just come for the fun. Do you need help this year putting things together?

The final count for shoe boxes is 7. Please prepare 7 kits and bring 4 completed, one to use as your example, 2 for hostess gifts and one for the display board to be used as a door prize.

My 3-D Gayla is a pumpkin game with dice, I will sew up the little Halloween bags tomorrow at work and pick up the dice, To cool, I want to play this game with my grand-daughter and thought many of you ladies have kids or grand kids to do the same, Can't wait to see how they turn out. I'm up late, couldn't sleep with the Elmira gathering still buzzing in my head, Oh well, off to get 2 hours of sleep. I'll be tired tomorrow.

Becky, now you're making me wish I did 3-D. I'm always looking for games with my grandkids when we are there all winter.
Never did go to sleep, Got home from work by 3:30 and have done 3 loads of wash, made 2 meatloaf's (one in the oven, other in the freezer), helped my husband put up a light outside my side door, and just sitting down for a second. Ever get that feeling of getting a bunch of stuff done and feel good. I know I'll fall asleep as so as I sit down longer and my fingers are not jumping on keys.

I've got NOTHING... I'm in big trouble!! I have this vendor fair tomorrow so I'm packing and planning that tonight and I'll be there all day tomorrow. Sunday I'm checking out a wedding venue with my niece. Hopefully that won't take all day. I do have Monday off... that might save me!! Of course it's without pay because we're on 4 day work weeks AGAIN!!
Good news!!! Applied for the building permit yesterday!! I think we have our builder. He said it would take about 2 months!! Maybe by Christmas?? That would be awesome! Waiting for ONE more price though.
