Thank you so much for inviting me. Is there a theme? Swap? Anything I should know?
Well Hello-and welcome to our fun group of talented ladies. We will always have room for more-the Barnes and Noble,Crestwood location allows us plenty of space. We tend to pick a theme during the session and this next challenge will be "3" (refer to post 2787). We reserved the room on the second Saturday of each month (1p-5p)for the year except for Februrary, we have Sunday the 20th (11a-2p). Looking forward to meeting and crafting with you.
Ok, Gillian, you are hired for our monthly photographer. I will take private lessons, when ever you are ready to give them to me.
I can't make the 20th in Feb. My sister is coming in from CA and only staying 4 days. Wish we could have gotten that other weekend, but. I need to let Heather know that I can make it to her house. Please add me to the list if it is not too late. Is there a theme, I need to catch up on the thread, now that we are back from Florida.
Looks like you gals made some great altered items on Saturday. I tried to post comments on all of them. What a wonderful variety!

:-(I'm so sorry that the 20th doesn't work-we miss you! The only other availaible was the 6th from 10-1, and I thought it was so soon to plan anything (not to mention early) If anyone wants to book that, email B&N soon.
:pWow, just recieved reply from B&N about booking the room throughout the year and they had only the 2nd Saturday throughout the year-so girls, we are booked from 1-5.
The B&N room was not available for Februrary, except Sunday the 20th from 11-2. Can all make it for our "3" challenge? :rolleyes:
I am so excited some of you look like you will be available on the 29th! Yes this is a shoebox swap just like you do at Barnes and Noble. This is how we used to do these shoebox swaps - back in the days before Barnes and Noble was around. Its fun - we have snacks and drinks and sit around and stamp away! I will PM directions to everyone as a mass PM the week of the swap - and I will put my cell # too - just in case.

Oh - BTW yes my scrapbooking weekend is with the LSS For Keeps Sake. This is the first time I have ever been able to go - I mised the last 2- usually I am with my daughters Girl scout troop for pinewood derby the weekend they have it - so excited to finally get to go :0)
Dee I have added you to the list - and also put in the theme? You don't have to go with the theme if you don't want to - it is just a guide :0) Let me know if I am missing anyone.

Heather I just wanted to thank you for hosting the craft group yesterday. I had such a wonderful time and enjoyed all the goodies you prepared for us. I also enjoyed meeting everyone. Hope everyone can make the next get together!

Did anyone take pictures? I would love to see what you created! I made a card for the swap but couldn't make it at the last minute. I will post it when Sunday is over. I really need to be a fanclub member so I can post on Sundays! I would this month but I am spending my money on an Ebay item!
If anyone took pictures please post. OR if you made everything, take pictures of everything you made at Heather's and then post!! I am anxious to see! Love y'all!

Awww - you guys are soooo welcome! I really enjoy the social side of our get togethers because I don't get away from the kids much! I had such a great time with everyone, and I am glad you guys had a great time too :0) Thank you all for coming out to the boonies to stamp with me! Gill I have pics of the cards, but I am also not a fan club memeber - so I will post them to my blog when I get a nimute. I am scrambling to make back up plans for the kids tom in case school is cancelled. This St. Louis winter is killing me this year :0(

I can give you a brief rundown of what we do-it is Shoebox style of get together-on the final week we post a head count and you make enough kits for everyone to make their own project of your design. Your choice if you have extra technique to perform (embossing, glittering, etc) to bring the products (cuttlebug, heatgun, embossing powder, etc) to perform or to have it predone. So far we have been keeping the projects to around 15 minutes to complete-unless colouring is involved.

Sunday, Feb. 20-11-2; theme of 3 (3 embellishments or techniques)
I did take pictures of the cards, but they only appeared in the main gallery not mine. I am chatting with people on SCS about my glitch with the gallery, and they are trying to fix it. I have not been able to post in my special SCS shoebox album or get them in the gallery in months. I am working to get them out for everyone to share.
Will be at Theresa's on Friday night. See ya ladies then. Heather, if you want to catch a ride with us from South County Dierbergs, we will be meeting around 6. I will give you my cell, if you pm. me.
