Hey Ladies! I just saw this thread and I would love to join your group! I live in St. Louis at 270 and Bellefountaine Rd. What do I need to do to join up?
I had a great time and all of you were so sweet! Thank you Sandie for the tour and the hospitality. Thank you, Gill, for the nice ride. It was great meeting you all.

Welcome Robyn!!! All you need to do is follow this thread because we normally get together once a month but as of now I don't think anyone has volunteered to host it. Then you just that the person hosting it know you will be coming and that's all you need to do.
Thanks for hosting the swap yesterday Sandy! What a great place you and your family live! Thanks for the wonderful tour of the garden! Your father is amazingly talented! Loved the trains throughout the place it was so fun to watch! The fountains and ponds are so lovely! I had a great time stamping yesterday and the bread and lemonade were super! Thanks for a really wonderful Saturday! It was fun to meet Dina and JoAnn the newbies this time--wonderful additions to the stamping St Louis group!
Thanks again for hosting, had a wonderful time!

Welcome to our group. If you pm me your birthday and addy, I will add you to our local birthday card group too. Hope you enjoy.
You Post that you would like the month, what Sat you want to host it on, and you keep track of those coming, then you post how many are coming about a week before.
Tracy, I'm sorry you couldn't make it. You were missed. I hope you feel better today.
Thank you ladies for coming. I enjoyed having you over!
thanks, yes - migraine is gone and feeling better today but sorry I missed the fun. Probably won't make July either - I'm only in town the weekend of the 11th and then August is the cruise to Alaska!! I'll be here the first half of the month and then home in Michigan from 22-29 when we leave for the cruise! Yeah!! I'm excited already!
Pictures? I missed you guys - was hoping someone would post pics of the cards from the swap?
July is crazy for us with cheerleading and stuff for the kids - but I can volunteer to host in August if anyone is interested? If you guys were at my house last time (in Fenton) I have moved to Imperial - its only about 10 minutes further south.
Hey guys - I have two extra tickets to this weekend's Women of Faith conference at Chavez (sp?) Arena here in St Louis. My god-daughters can't make it so I thought there might be someone out there that could use the wonderful, uplifting time of praise. let me know, no charge - I just don't want the tickets to go to waste. We could even carpool! :-) for more info go to www.womenoffaith.com but it's Friday from 9:30 to 9:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00, I think? let me know by e-mail to [email protected] - make sure to put Women of Faith in subj line because I get LOTS of e-mails. I'll try to check back here as well. thanks!!
I have the pictures taken to post. I set my card reader down and I can't find it. So it's gonna be a day or two before I post the pictures. I don't have the original cards to post pictures of, just the ones I made. Sorry ladies.
Gillian, I agree with you totally that the garden tour was spectacular as was the Artisan Bread and other munchies! Thanks Sandy and thank your parents again for me.
Ladies I was just notified by one of my friends that scrapbookingalley.com has a special deal just until the end of June on Scor Pal. 20% off and free shipping. I also ordered an extra tool but, did not order the cutting pad....total was $29.
After that great card from Gillian, I was inspired to make more so the Scor Pal will be a nice addition to my tool collection ;->
After tossing the idea over and over, I ordered the ScorPal. Magge at Inkspot loves it too. Giil, now you will have competition!! haha
You will be so happy you have this tool! I'm excited for you and Cindy!
Go to the tool and product thread here on Splitcoast forums and read up on the great reviews for Scor-Pal. You will always be happy with this tool! I am!
I put the pictures and my discriptions of all of the cards up on my blog if anyone wants to see them. I am located at stampmine.blogspot.com. I realize that Gillian already put all of them up for us and I really appreciate her taking the time to do that. Is anyone hosting July? Thanks everyone for coming. I enjoyed having you all at my house.
Sandy
I visited your blog and you have lots of fun stuff to see!
Love your bright and shiny attitude towards EVERYTHING!
Great blog! Great job on keeping it up!
I got my scor-pal in the mail the other day, put it in the bag I ordered for it, put it under my desk and started using my other one like it was going out of style. Go figure.
Julie-
I haven't seen anyone offer to host July - I offered to host August if anyone wants to come over to MO.
We have moved - it only about 10 minutes further south than my old house. I don't have a date yet - waiting until I get DD's cheerleading schedule next week before I tried to pick a date.

I will come to your house too! Have you thought of a theme yet?
I am starting a list for August - since we don't have a sign up for September yet. I am getting DD's cheerleading schedule on Tuesday so I will have a definate date then!
Hope you guys can all come - I am in Imperial, MO - Just south of STL right off hwy 55.
Let me know if anyone is interested!
You can count me in too. Imperial is just down 141 for me.
I have it pretty well worked out with my boss about using the hall for meeting if anyone
is interested for September. It is at Manchester Road and Weidman here in West County.
The date is tenatively September 12th, on a Saturday. If someone has taken September, it could be any month coming up.
Heading to Tennessee in the morning. My laptop will be with me so I can keep up with girls! Jo Ann

I am a tentative for August. I am on vacation Aug 10-15. Other than those days count me in!
What do you do? How does this work? Tell me all I need to know.
thanks
We mostly just have fun! Someone hosts a month, and posts a theme of their choice. We watch this thread to see how many are attending, and closer to the date of the event, the number changes. We design a card according to the theme --our own interpretations--and they are fun to see! Each person cuts supplies, brings the stamps and embellishments enough for everyone to make your designed card. We each then show our cards and each of us makes the cards with the supplies provided. Bring your own scissors, adhesives and other tools.
More later. Got to go. Others feel free to add!
When someone hosts our get-togethers, they post of theme of their choice. It can be holiday related, or simply one of your favorite things to do! Ideas from the past months for themes have been: Pink Lemonade, Chocolate, Spring, Male/Masculine cards, and so on. Everyone just designs a card according to the theme for the month. The host then keeps track of the number of folks who have responded to attending, and lets us know how many to provide/cut supplies for the card of your design. Your interpretations are always unique and fun to do! The host can provide snacks if they wish to do so.
The host usually has an area where tables and chairs are available to work on. The time is usually around 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturdays, but that can change to work for the host--just post available time and date. When it gets closer to the date, the host will send directions via PM to those who need traveling directions to the hostess' place.
These are ususally shoebox swaps--all the supplies and cuts of papers, stamps, inks and embellishments can fit in a shoebox, but people can bring in anything that works! Some of us bring special tools such as a Cuttlebug, a Big Shot, or a Scor-Pal if the hostest can not provide. Sometimes the hostess has all the tools and offers them to use during the swap. It just depends and communications are made. We sure have a great time and the card designs are fun to see and make! I love our get-togethers, the people are so fun, helpful, and encouraging! What more fun can you have doing something you love to do--with people who love to do it just as much as you do!!
Does the hostess provide a card kit also or just the place- snacks- drinks?
Does each participant provide the envelope for the card kit they are furnishing?
