Has anyone used their dies with aluminum? What would you use to cut the Coke cans down?
Angie I love this!!! This just might make me open my die. I raid DH mancave and find some of his wire cutters..but I'm sure any sturdy scissor would work or box cutter.

the cans are so thin that scissors should do. I would think event he Tim Holtz scissors. They had a pretty card at Photo Scraps with soda can cut out! Love it........Go Angie! Open new doors for us.

Jane....do I have your permission to try this with your borrowed die??? I'm concerned if it effects the die for use on paper later?
Man I have really been wanting to join you ladies for a swap but sadly this day doesn't work for me :(
I will keep stalking the threads for the next time you post something.

Hi Kelly! Hopefully you can make one soon. I think of ya every time I head up Belair Road past your street. One of these days, you might find me on your door step. LOL
Here we thought this swap would be a fun idea. Don't be scared of the Big Shot ladies. If you are holding back due to projects, please don't. They won't be that hard to do, and each box will have directions. And it sound like most of the swaps are going to be cards. Join us for a fun swap.
I am looking forward to learning more about my big shot.....not much used. I do need to get more confortable with it. Cuttlebug is what I am so used to. It will be a fun day with lots of laughter but then, when do we not laugh? Huh!;)

If nothing else...we will get to see new dies, sandwiches, and fun!!! The cards and projects will be beautiful they always are.

If I didn't already have something planned for that day I would join you all but Dusty and I had already committed ourselves to a doggie event that day. I'm sure all the projects and cards will be awesome!

Sorry you can't make it Kathi. But what you do with Dusty is very important - kudos to you!

Is this the first Ft Meade swap that you will be missing? As Rose said "Sad Face"...

Did you try it yet? You don't need fancy scissors to cut a can...they are so thin. Just don't use your good paper scissors
