Well this is a WOW post for me. I was blown away by the soda can die cuts! How cute are they? I knew the cans were thinner but that just blew me away with how light they were. Love them Angie. Thanks for trying them and thanks for bringing them and I can't wait to use them! Looking forward to this swap. I wonder what other new things I will learn.
I totally enjoyed the questions and answers. I love the swaps for what I learn. Not just techniques but what I thought I wanted in new stamps, what I thought I didn't want in new stamps and then finding out I was all wrong! Love it. Way cheaper than buying stamps I don't care for and way cheaper than therapy.

I've been a busy beaver cutting cans! My coworker is bringing me 2 beer cans to try. That should be interesting.
I had a guy doing some work on my house today (in the kitchen too), and he saw all the pieces of the cans. So he says, "OK, I have to ask...what are you doing with these?" So I showed him, and he thought it was really cool!
I have a food suggestion for Ms Fran.... The YUMMY pretzel jello deliciousness! Just a suggestion... lol
But if Sara's coming, she might have to double the recipe. LOL If it's not fritters, then it's pretzel salad. I'll have to e-mail her and see if she's definitely planning on joining us.
Good morning. It is Brownie Thursday so maybe I will go home and bake some brownies. Or maybe I will just go home and finish ironing and rest. Hmmmmmmmm, brownies or rest. Truthfully, resst actually sounds better right now. I must not be feeling well!:(

When I told Mom, she said well, what about the mac & cheese...told her I had that covered. We have to keep Amanda and Jane both food happy. LOL So, she'll bring the pretzel salad.

I've been working on my BS cards all weekend. I have a design that Jane will really really like. As for food, how about if I bring some muffins for breakfast?
I mentioned it again today but I don't think it sounds like she will. I will ask her again. How did you do on the yard sale? Hope it went great!
It went beyond great! I was very very pleased. We made either 4 or 5 trips in with the hand truck on Friday night and only made one trip out on Saturday carrying only 3 boxes. These shoppers were crazy, and it helped having everything priced cheap, so I didn't bring it back home. I've never seen so many SU sets in one place with all the different demo's selling stuff and then those of us who just wanted to get rid of stuff. I'd definitely do it again.

I am canned out! I've cut so many soda cans...they are everywhere! But there will be enough for everyone to make 2 projects as well. Problem is...the tin retains the curved shape. I tried flattening some buy leaving them under something heavy - FAIL! So, I'm not sure how to package the kits. I'll probably just bring them loose in a box and y'all can pick out a pair(s) of your choice. I also have to bring a bunch of different colors of card stock since the cans are all different colors. Oh well, it'll all work out.
Angie, I had to laugh when I first read that you wre canned out! I wondered what you were saying. As for the set, it has some stars, a fleur-de-lis (not sure I spelled that one right...)a blotch, some spots half a wing thing and a crown. I think it actually went with the kids stamps....not sure, like the skate borders.......Still laughing at being canned.
