Good Morning y'all! Geee is it ever chilly out today very cold wait at the bus stop. This is what they call Blackberry winter back home. It gets really warm, the blackberry bushes start to bloom and then we have 1-2 weeks of cool weather again. Happens every year. Need to take a walk today and see if our blackberries are blooming here.

No blackberries here as one of our neighbors cut down all the bushes to make way for parking when they had a party...

that is just WRONG, Jeaneen. Blackberries are awesome.

wonder if I could plant something in my back yard by the deck supports? 2 years ago my neighbor planted tomatoes and they did really well.. wonder if a nice climbing something or other would work...

Yeah I would much rather have the berries! lol

Yes, it is chilly today, but I love it.
DM - yes, tomatoes seem to do well here. When I had a veg gdn years ago the tomatoes took over the place and I dont even eat tomatoes. Peppers did well too. Now, root veggies, like carrots, produced some real scarey looking products. Corn not so good either, at least it didnt LOOK good. Cant beat fresh corn tho.

Most corn in these parts is feed corn. Now back in Ohio....That is corn central. The Hubs literally grew up in the middle of corn fields. One of his neighbors still farms some of his family's land.

Good morning, although it's almost noon. Glad I found everyone! House is so quiet...Mom is visiting her SIL...DH is golfing...Sadie is sleeping. I should be doing something other than chatting & farming!

No you shouldn't! Chatting and farming is what all the cool kids do. lol Just got done harvesting while eating my lunch.... It's all good!

Yeah my tomatoes and cucumbers did amazing last year. Cabbage, and squash didn't do so well but that was because of the trespassing critters. Got that problem fixed maybe we will do better this year.

Oh year, forgot about cucumbers. My neighbors grew zuccini and squash. That stuff is hard to kill I guess. The only good thing about it was the zuccini bread she brought me and tried to pawn off zuccini and squash!

I had the zucchini fairy leave some offerings at my doorstep last year. I had great cucumbers last year. I already have some planted this year too.

I've got some of those trespassing critters too! Their names are Dusty, Sammy, Lizzie, Rocky & Zippy! :D

Good afternoon all. Jeaneen was here to visit me today. I have converted her to be a flower addict too. Gloria, I stamped her a bunch for her and her mom to make! Love those flowers. Hope you all are having a great (chilly) day! I don't grow much eithe at Farmville (none thanks) or in the yard. Love squash and zucchini.

Yup, Jane is telling the truth! Had a great time making a flower and will definately will be making more as time permits (darn those other committments!)

For my flower loving friend here you go Jane! This is a Tropicana orange bag made cool flowers and is "green". Love LOVE LOVE the Tulle Fabric! Made awesome flowers can't wait to try these out on a card. Well maybe I can I don't feel like cleaning my table off tonight. lol

Finally Book 4 is done, I can now go to bed at a decent hour. Kimme, be warned you will not get much sleep until you finish... at least books 3 and 4 I could not put down....

maybe we need to set a date to go see the 3rd movie when it comes out....

Morning, why is there a very fat lady on my screen talking about 1 rule of a tiny belly. Ya think they know Im fat. Now they're even inside my house knowing what I do!

Amanda = I missed the original post about how you were making these flowers? Are you using a punch or a cutting machine or what? I wanna see a completed tulle and orange flower! Notice I didnt say I wanted to MAKE one!

LOL yeah I still don't wanna stamp bad enough to clean my table off. lol

I'm using the Tim Holtz flower die and my sizzix machine to cut the flowers. I guess I need to try the nesties and see if they work on thin stiff like tulle.

It really is Gloria's fault..........

Gloria, I do believe you have created teh monsters............and I am totally one of them. I just love these flowers. They are just such a pop for the cards. Too fun!
