I miss stamping on that table!! Also miss seeing all your projects in action... and no one should worry, Gayla always creates great projects... a day or two before needed!
I think I know what I want to do for my card, just need to find the right stamps now! If it requires cuttlebugging and punching, should I do that ahead of time?
Hi girls! I can't make this one, but will definately consider hitching a ride with Gayla, Nancy and Pat (and maybe the Snorkeling Arlene) to a future gathering!
Can't wait to see your fun projects! Oh, and save a chocolate rock for me;)

I was wondering the same thing, I guess if you do it ahead it is less stuff for you to carry

Yeah, I think I'll def do the cuttlebug ahead of time, punching will depend on my design.... if you need to stamp on the punched parts, I think it's easier to stamp first, then punch.
I pulled a whole bunch of my stmaping stuff into the living room this morning - what a mess I just created!

But at least you can look at it all and say, "It's ALL mine!!! HAHAHAHAHA! And I am a creator! HAHAHAHA!" Is that Frankinstein-Halloweenish enough for this time of year??
I personally think that the more things I get to try that I have never done before broadens my experience as a stamper. Say I have never used a cuttlebug before, I may find it interesting, educational, and fun to try something new. Others might find it frustrating, but it usually gives me something new and fun to try later (and even something new to buy).

I need to decide today, it looks like it is going to be cold and rainy all day, a great day to stamp, and go to ice skating, and food shopping--with a side trip to the craft store

Yeah! I finished all my packets today. It was an absolute perfect stamping day-completely miserable outside.
It is perfect for stamping!! I'm still working on things for next weekend in CNY, but I have a great idea floating around in my brain for this one too! And I'd be happy to lug the cuttlebug so folks can play. ;) That's if I don't change my mind on the design between now and then!!

Kari-Don't worry about bringing the cuttlebug. I'm definitely bringing mine since people will need it for part of the card. Unless we want to have more than one for people to use.
I am bringing scor pal if anyone needs. My gift card holder needs scoring. I have the final design and I started cutting. There is paper piecing so I cut lots of pieces. I just need to cut the base.
We all bring our own adhesive and scissors right?

I spent too many hours at Micheals and Joann Fabrics yesterday! Got the fabric for the quilt I am making my hubby for Christmas. I hope he likes it. Kind of retro fabrics (that part he will like), it is the colors I am worried about. I wanted to do something different.
Anyway, remember folks that each person will need to bring their own scissors and tape/adhesive. If you card calls for special adhesive that makes the card special, that you will provide with your shoe box kit. (things like pop dots, or foam squares)
Each box containing projects should be out most of the time, so what ever materials you bring to create your card will be with the shoe box containing your materials.

By the way, tomorrow is the deadline for signing up. I sure do hope that we get just a couple more! Maybe some of you know someone in the area. Since I am new here, I don't know anyone! I do love to have a full house.
If we don't get anymore sign ups, I will suggest everyone bring 15 card kits. Plus your fully finished card. I will let you all know the final number for sure on Wednesday.
