Quick question for Sarah - are Stickles acceptable for use in the library? I was just playing around with my card yesterday and added a teeny bit, just for fun, and it turned out cute. It's not a make-or-break thing but thought I'd throw it out there. Can't wait til Saturday!!!!!!!

How is everyone doing on having their stuff done on time?[not like last minute finishing in the parking lot;) ]
I just finished my ATC's and my gift is wraped, all that I have left is to put together my sample and seven for the STAR STAMPERS! I'm almost as happy that I'll be ready for once as I am that it's almost saturday and I'll get to meet my little secret sister from last round![waving hi to Jackie ]

I know you mentioned that not everyone who said they'll ATC-trade may, due to whatever reasons (like mine: can't think up a darn thing and way too intimidated! LOL) but...what if you put a little symbol on the ATC-traders name tags to make us stick out. I only suggest this b/c I'm too shy and wait till someone approaches me. And then I get a deer-in-headlights look b/c I'm not sure if I should trade or flee! I'm not going to survive convention. I just know it.
Well, I'm just too excited about Sat and so not ready and I'm not going to be able to sleep and if I self-combust Sat--you'll know why! I'll try to warn everyone right before I do...but I don't think I'm aware of the signs.

I started with the optional items (gift exchange and ATC's) and saved the "must do" card swap for last --- DOH!
I haven't posted much since I registered for the swap, but I am really looking forward to it and also to meeting what appears to be a GREAT group of ladies!

Don't feel too bad, I've got some things to finish up as well, and I bet we're not the only ones! Besides, everyone needs a good reason to take half a day off on a Friday now and then!
Just a warning for everyone..............I'm getting into my annual bout of spring allergies.........unfortunately for those that have to look at me, it's more of a skin allergy than anything. Woke up to some welts around my right eye this past weekend, and finding new ones by the day.........and some more on my face. Hoping it calms down before Saturday, rather than getting worse, but figured this would serve as ample warning. This way, if anyone feels the need to laugh hysterically if I come looking hideous, I can politely ask now that you at least turn your back, and please don't point, lol. I'm just kidding on that last part, but seriously, I've had a couple people ask me with a ton of concern if I'm ok...........think it's because it looks as though I have a DH that popped me a good one in the eye!
Ok, that's all.

Well... here's why it's probably not a good idea... stickles take SO LONG to dry... and people will need to toss things in their bag and move on KWIM? I'd say skip the stickles.... but I do love the stickles!
Ok, ladies. Count me IN on the ATC swap. I had originally told Sarah that I would be in ... but the last few weeks have been really hectic, so then I thought I wouldn't be participating. Well, today I felt really bad that I had said "yes" and that I'd be showing up on Saturday with nothing to swap. So I got to work and will have 35 ATCs to swap Saturday. Of course, they are not all done yet ... but everything is cut and prepped ... so now I just need to stamp and assemble.

Too funny! We will watch for the smoke! And do not worry... the ATC swap part is during the registration. Just stand there with your Bag/basket full of ATC's open... and smile! The swappers will find you!
The name tags are already done... and I hate to label the ATC folks as some may drop out... so that would just get confusing I think. this will be a good test for convention (and that will be a great place to swap leftovers!)! You can do it!!! We are super friendly... except for Diane (stampwithdiane) she bites!

Good job on the ATC swaps, btw, Deb! I really shouldn't have given anyone a hard time, as I only signed up for the cards, and I'm not quite prepared just with those, lol.

You may be right, since I woke up and my eye was more swollen than it was yesterday..............shame on me! No countdowns outta this girl today!

My shoebox swap is just in a plain old clear Sterilite container. (Actually TWO containers. One that holds all the baggies and one for all the supplies.) Boring, I know!
