I am all for Cards For Samantha being our service project. Even though it is not a local cause it is certainly worth it!
What if we brought cards/card fronts and donated a couple of dollars and someone could box them and send them? I just pm'd Twinkle to see if she wants card fronts. I have bunches of them. Or, if someone would be willing to help me mount the card fronts onto card stock...just thinking outloud...anyway, we could probably send LOTS of cards her way.
eta...I have all these swaps with retired stamps that I'm not using...I'd love to have them go to a worthy cause.

Beth, I'll help you out with that!!! Bring them along. When I've got down time, I'll mount away!
Hi Dody. I just found out the job fair I'll be attending while I"m home has been moved to March 11th. Arrrgh!!! I won't be able to make it after all. I'm so disappointed! I wanted to let you know so some other stamper could take my slot.

I have closed this swap. My count is 27 for cards and 12 for 6x6s. The number may get a little bit bigger because a few ladies who signed up early have not said what they want to do. I would think that if you make supplies for 30 full cards that should cover everyone plus have a surplus for the service projects.
I'm still in as well as my SIL Heather and we are both still doing cards. Looking forward to the getaway and I'm assuming nursing babies would be welcome at our get together?
Of course nursing babies are welcome! Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Ok Dody ... due to my situation (the booby one!), I'm not nursing anymore (at least during the day), but I'm still planning to bring Jaydin. That ok???? She won't tell any of our secrets!!! LOL!
On the 6X6 swap could you clarify the following - do we need to have everything stamped, cut and ready to assemble or will we have time to do all the stamping/cutting steps during the card swap? Thanks Theresa

Cut and ready to assemble and in separate baggies. You will bring the stamps, ink pads, embellishments and anything needed to do your page.
Everyone will bring their own tape and stuff.

GRANNY, I want to go to Disney with you!!!!
I've never been.. but we are planning on taking the kids in June!
Have fun!!! Can't wait to see the pics at our gathering!!
I still plan on being there! My 6x6 pages I am sorry I didn't get back to you on what I am doing with that, but I am thinking outdoors/camping using Pines. I won't get to play around with that until tommorrow or maybe later today.
Leslie, I was just thinking that I needed to do a reminder, so thanks !
The library opens at 9:00; I could use some help setting things up. Hopefully some of you ladies who live close by ? We can start stamping as soon as things are settled.... 9:30ish. Let's take a lunch break at 12:30 & play the Dirty Stamper game during the break. Back to stamping at 1:00 until 5:00 and then clean up. Library closes at 6:00 and we have to have everything back to normal before then.
Please bring $10. cash for lunch, as that's what we'll use to pay for the pizzas & drinks. If anyone wants to bring munchies, I'm sure it would be appreciated by all.
If you're getting off of hwy 85 take 20 east about 3 miles (just pass the Publix shopping center) to Azalea road, there's a blue library sign to Camp Perrin Road, again follow the blue sign. The Library is on Camp Perrin. If you miss Azalea don't worry cause it's a horseshoe shaped road that comes back onto 20 so just be ready to take it next time! The blue signs are there too
The Collins Hill Library sign is missing the letters so just look for the blue road signs (sigh!) it's pass the Country Club ... really, you can't miss it AND if you do miss it; when you get to Collins Hill Road turn around & try again! We're only talking about a half of a mile or so ;)
Feel free to ask any questions at any time, I'm trying to do my best here but this is an unknown for me too!

See y'all in 3 weeks!!!!
Dody, what time do you need us there if we are gonna help? I will let you know if I can do it. (I have 2 kids at home, leaving with dh and Wilma will be staying with me, so I gotta see if it's doable!)

Allison - my crew is going again in November. We go every other year - and we never get enough. I think it's in our blood! LOL!! We are sooooo excited about going again this year. Of course, we will be taking the little one for the first time, and I'm sure that has something to do with the excitement. I hope you have a good time in June. Just be forewarned - it is hot and crowded then. Be prepared for that. Get the book The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World for some really good tips and plans.
