amanda and tracy, i have a used cuttlebug i'd like to get rid of... are you doing the silent auction again? now that i know what to expect i am planning on bringing some stuff along for it... if you're doing it that is!

I got the ok. I also have a friend that wants to come with me. She is reletively new to stamping so I will help her get a card ready. I plan to talk to her about it more tonight and then I'll let you all know for sure.

Julie, where are you from? If you're anywhere near Valley Forge PA you can meet us and drive down with us. I have four empty seats in my van.
OK, now that I caught up with the whole thread, I have a suggestion about the tables....maybe if you put all the tables in a circle (square actually) we could just bump right around and see everyone and chit chat. We wouldn't need to even have a score sheet that way because we would work our way around.
Oh...and I would be willing to bring either a dessert or spinach dip. But if I make the dip you may have to wrestle it away from Julie and I ;)
I'll be mailing my check and form on Monday! I'm looking forward to this!

Ugh! DH's Unit was terrible about that when he was traveling overseas. They would give you a date, then push it back 5 times and then all of a sudden they would tell you that you are leaving in 3 days. :twisted: Coming home was even worse, 60 day TDY's became 90+ days on a regular basis. Made it impossible to plan anything in advance, we lost a couple of vacation deposits and I went by myself to more family events (that were planned around us) then I care to count. I understand that things come up and you need to be flexible, but we aren't talking about being delayed by just a few days here either. YKWIM. Hopefully by time he goes back to that part of the job things will be better.
when DH was on sea duty. NEVER and i mean NEVER did they come in as scheduled./ most of the times they were late,once they were early.. but NEVER did they tie up to pier when they said they were gonna.
the last one.. 0730 scheduled tie up to the pier.. at 0900 somebody came out sand said..yeah..uhh, they aren't being allowed to pull in cuz another ship is on rescue Ops and that CO outranks ours and he won't let our ship pull in before him..
even though our ship wasn't involved with the rescue( over turned civilian craft) she couldn't pull in cuz some pompous You Know What pulled rank...
