Just had a PM from Jocelyn. She and two of her friends will be coming all the way from New Hampshire just to stamp with us!
Welcome welcome New Hampshire-ites!!!! It's well worth the drive! Just shop when you get here.... we love shopping almost as much as stamping here!
Hi ladies,
We are still in limbo land on a new job for DH. Since I do not foresee anything happening real soon, I am hoping to sign up for May. I will ask Sue if she is up for coming again as well. I hope to let you know for sure in a week or so. Looks like a good crowd again and would hate to miss it!
Welcome to all the new people. How exciting..... Tracy, I hope you and Sue can come too. Did everyone eat to much chocolate for Easter? I did, but it was so worth it.

Happy Monday!!

Back to 27. Jocelyn and friends did not realize just how far away we are from them.
RE: handicap accessibility - there is a key-operated lift.
how is it? is it one of those chairs that goes up and down the steps or is it more like an elevator? I don't think one of those chair things is gonna cut it.

From what I could see, more like an elevator. It has a separate entrance.
This is just a reminder to sign up for the ATC swap! You can read all about this swap in Linda's 2nd post in a .pdf file. I will post the list of people who have signed up via the registration form on 4/26 and then close the list on 5/4 - this will then give you 2 weeks to create your mini masterpieces!

Just to let you know payment and registration form is in transit. I signed up for the demo swap and will bring a food item (chocolate covered pretzels - plain and with a variety of nuts).
I am super excited - writing the check makes it seem so much more real! I have an idea for the cardfront swap and my name tag. The make and take is a bit harder but I have some colors and ideas bouncing around.
Found my way here - can I join in the CNY thread - I'm a little east of CNY!
teresa welcome, how did you like my mini hi jack on the game thread?
i would hate for someone to miss out. we are such and fun group.
and we love new stampin friends.
what town do you live in ?
And ... don't forget to sign up for the 6 x 6 recipe swap. I love sharing recipes with my stamping friends. And, sometimes I even try them out!! Especially if the recipe is one they've shared with me at a stamping event!!

Oh, and Tina, you're way ahead of the rest of us with ideas. LOL
It's enthusiasm like this that really builds up the excitement of chatting with you and waiting to meet y'all. I hope you won't be less excited once I'm there :? .
The idea is only in my head --- I don't have the colors to make a sample. I'm placing an order (hopefully today) so it better look good; I won't have time or money to make major changes!
My name tag will probably be the last thing I make, since I have to dig out some supplies to make the one in my head and once stuff is "dug out" the hole from which it came is immediately filled and the dug out stuff no longer has a place to go, thus taking up valuable space on a work surface. Which, of course, means it is difficult and frustrating to make anything else.
But I will have some ID on even if it means just using a Sharpie on a self-stick badge from an office supply store.
And big heartfelt thanks to Gayla because I would not have been able to come if I needed a motel room (and thanks too to the other ladies that also offered a place to stay).
The next few weeks are busy so I'll probably be lurking more than chatting but I'll be around.
