Hi Ladies - I'm working on getting my refund from the store so I can get your your money back. I'll keep you updated.
As for the Christmas card swap, I don't have a definite date yet, but I will post another thread to sign up.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic day. And Nancy, your card was the next to be confiscated!
Becky

I pmd you as requested. You did a wonderful job on organizing your first swap. I really enjoyed Fancy That store as well, in the big picture the money issue was minor.
For those of you that wanted the Pizza Casserole recipe, here it is (I didn't follow it)
In a Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, salt, garlic powder, oregano and pepper; heat through.
Spoon 4 cups into a 6 qt slow cooker. Top with half of the noodles, pepperoni and cheeses. Repeat layers. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour or until cheese is melted.
Editor's Note: This recipe can be halved to use in a 3 qt slow cooker.
Tracy, I made the Pizza Casserole tonight and it was delicious! The guys loved it! I pretty much followed the recipe but added green pepper in with the onion when I browned the ground beef and added more spices than what it called for (my guys like things spicy) Thanks so much for posting this!

Girls I can not even tell you how much fun we had today. My mom and I are actually on the phone now talking about our cards.
Ok who did the Riley card? My mom and I loved those markers and now can't remember who you told us they were made by and where you got them. Do you mind passing on the info?
Ft Meade ladies, YOU ROCK!!!!! We better be seeing you again because a swap would not be the same without you. Thanks for the great laughs!
I stopped by Tuesday Morning in Harrisburg off of Union Deposit and they have the grab bag of stamps that had the Robot in it. It was $7.99 for a bag of 6-7 stamps. It has 2 dinosaurs, a dump truck, sports items, and the robot. Just and FYI incase anyone wanted to check it out.
Signing off for some zzzz's!!! Thanks so much again!
Sorry, I just saw this, sometimes I get the e-mails on the new posts, sometimes I don't?? Anyway, it was my card. They were Prismacolor Markers. I bought them from http://www.dickblick.com/ It's an art supplies store. They have brick and morter stores as well as online. It's the best price I found. It was between them and copics and I didn't want to spend the money on the copics just yet. I did buy a couple to compare, but went with a set of Prismas. Again, sorry for the late post. It was great meeting everyone.

You know what I just found last week? There's a new Dick Blick in Philadelphia - I think I am in trouble! LOL :-)
Oh, and Anne, where do you buy your A Muse stamps? Other than online I can't seem to find them anywhere. There are some new ones coming out that I've got to HAVE.
In the city? My mom and I are planning another trip on the train this fall.
Yep the new one is right in center city - here's the details from the website:
Blick Art Materials
Center City
1330 Chestnut Street
Philadelphia, PA 19107
(215) 545-3214
The new 20,000-square-foot store is located just east of Broad St. in Center City and is in the same building as West Elm and Lucky Strike Bowl.
Subway commuters should use City Hall, 13th Street, or 15th Street stations.
I buy my Amuse stamps directly from Amuse now, since Rubberbuggy is no longer in biz :-( Don't get them from AC Moore or Michael's - both places mark them up A LOT. Amuse has fast shipping & the shipping rates are really reasonable.
Just checking to see what's happening with the refund? No hurry, just thought I'd check in
Hi Ladies - I'm going to the store today to finish getting the money back. Both of the owners were on vacation last week and they are the only ones who can refund money. Hopefully I'll be able to enter all the paypal info. tonight.
I hope that everyone is doing well. While I'm at the store, I will also schedule the next swap. What do you ladies think of ordering lunch for the next swap (pizza, subs, etc.) I was thinking that might free up some space for more swapping. Let me know what you think.
Thanks

That's awesome! What kind of supplies do they carry? I am going to check them out online. Are they like Pearl in South Street? Man, I wish they would have opened sooner. I use to work at 1601 Market.
Do you have the address to where we are to mail cards for the soliders? If so will you share it, so I can mail out a bunch of cards.
Thanks,
I can help with that one! The thread is right on the front page of SCS in the margin- Cards for Troops. It's amazing what a group of stampers can do. The link is there if you're interested to learn more and the actual address is

Thanks Brandi for posting the information. The troops really do love any and all types of cards. My DH says it makes them feel connected being able to send cards home for special days that they miss being deployed.
