It is weird, I can see the photos when I go to the 1 day viewing but when I click on the gathering area, they aren't there. Maybe they will show up eventually there. Patience is NOT one of my virtues.

Punch found! I am getting it back tonight and with the leftovers from the SCS gathering I have enough for my little group of stampers --- we meet tonight! Sue

I just realized it's sunday and we're not suppose to upload so I think all this wonkiness is our penalty for not following the rules.

Oh fiddlesticks....I just logged on, this afternoon, for the first time since we moved and saw this post about a gathering in Oregon. I would have LOVED to have come.
I live in Central Oregon in a small to town called Culver. Actually, I had a shoebox gathering here at my house the weekend before so probably might not have been able to attend. But, if you are thinking of having another one in the near future......I would love to attend if at all possible.
I love shoebox parties! I have been to several this year.
Anyone else still living off of the fun had at this gathering? It did something for me in the area of 'need to just stamp with other stampers who love stamping'. I especially loved the 'build up' to the event just reading the posts. This was someones' baby and the planners get a standing ovation from me! I really prize every connection I made at this event no matter how brief! Everyone had spark of creativity and were just glad to be there. It was a great feeling. Loved the gifts! We all made a doorprize and everyone came away with one. Mine was a starbucks bottle filled with chocolate covered strawberries! Thank you! I loved how this looked, but I just had to eat them. Now I am wondering what else could go in there??...
So, just to say thank you to Dorinda and Shanon and everyone else that helped to pull this off so well. I have a great feeling of being part of a wider stamping community than before. I am very grateful.
I just uploaded a pic of my door prize and the name tag prize. Here are the links. Sorry I was so late! First of two Grandbabies this month will be here tomorrow!
Hey, all your OR/WA gathering attendees! Did you see the next gathering that is listed? Go to the gathering forum here and find out the scoop! Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I'm going the morning of the gathering and staying overnight and coming back the next day. I have three spots open in my vehicle for anyone who might like to help with gas! GMCbunny? Annie? Sumtoy?
KLM is in Edmonds (where I'm staying overnight) and she may have a few spots open.

Sounds like fun! I'm an hour north of Portland - glad to travel south. Sept or Oct sound good - or even Jan. or Feb.
I'm now officially subscribed to this thread!
I TOO am "an hour north of Portland" ~ in Longview, WA, so I'm wondering how close you are to me?!?!?!
You're welcome to email me privately, if you prefer. I'm at [email protected]
I am planning to host a shoebox swap at the Vancouver, BC Regional Seminar. This event will be held Friday night after the seminar. If you would like to attend, please email me @ [email protected] if you are interested. All the details will be provided once we get slots filled and all the details finalized for the event. Please note: There may be a fee to cover room space, snacks and door prizes.
Also, anyone wanting to carpool on Friday up that morn and back that night, who lives in the Ft. Lewis/Olympia/Tacoma area, please let me know.
