ROTFLOL! NO WAY in HE!! would I believe you to be SHY! Nice try though! I can certainly try to get there at a semi deisignated time - thank god for cell phones! DD's and dogs sometimes make my trip longer than necessary! Pizza may be a nice change. We shall discuss when the date comes closer!

hey...next time someone is in Vestal, would you stop at A.C.Moore and pick something up for me? I can't find them at my A.C.Moore, and I bought mine at that one when I was ther a couple of months ago.

grrrrrrrr I was just there this morning to quit! I taught scrapbooking... or I should say I was on the books as their instructer, only actually taught one class, the others were cancelled due to no sign ups.

July 15 is not looking good because we could not get a room the size we were hoping for on that date. However, July 29 is VERY promising. What does everyone say? Will it work? As Kirstin said, we are still working on details but how 'bout that date?

29th is out for me, that's my Christmas in July camp.. but DON'T change anything if it works for everyone else. I can make the next one!
Karen, are you a demo in Binghamton? I met another demo at Sam's in Vestal today and told her about this swap! Her name is Judy and she might be joining us! Very nice lady, fun to talk to! (She approached me because she saw my lunch tin purse!)
Joanne Tofte is my demo - I'm just a stampin' fool! There is a Judy in my group but she is not a demo - she is the one that chimed in earlier from the Town of Maine.

I stop at Gibson all the time when I go to visit the relatives! I'll be driving down to Lake Sheridan (straddling the Lackawanna / Wyoming County lines) next weekend (24th) and will definately gas up in Gibson.

Hi All ! I was born and raised in Canandaigua, Ny Heart of the Finger Lakes. My brother still lives there. We just put my Mom in an Asst living in PennYan. My husbands family is from Liverpool, and he spent his summers in Constantia on Oneida Lake, I know where all of you are talking about! I did my nsg training in Cortland, and have friends in Vestal and even in Homer!
Do let me know when you arrange something??/ Would ya let a Michigander in?? I do make it back to NY several times a year, and if I could co oridinate a get together at the same time, it would be great!

My DH just came home tonight from a fishing trip to Oneida Lake! Kirstin, I wasn't able to come along this time........hopefully next time. DH just reminded me that I forgot to let you (and your father-in-law) know that he was coming. oops. :oops: I'm sorry! It has been crazy here.

oh that is a bummer....hope you can come down next time.....FIL was up fishing at the St. Lawrence this weekend, and came home sick late Saturday night...he was so sick they went and literally pulled the boat out of the river at 1:30 in the morning, and drove the 2 hours back home right then. Pete took the 2 boys out fishing at one of the lakes more closer to home...they had fun.

We're still working on this, but please add 7/29 on your calendar. Cost won't be $20 -- it's be only $15. If you want more info than that, please PM me or Kirstin (CrabbyAbbe). We have the info; we're just waiting for the go-ahead from the library to post.
Question for anyone subscribed to this thread: Do you have the ability to make a Word file into a PDF? The registration form I've made is in Word and Kirstin couldn't open the file, which made us realize that others might have this problem, too. Can anyone turn it into a PDF for us?
I am posting a Word file and a PDF with get together details. Registration will be due by July 8 for the July 29 event. Sorry we couldn't accommodate everyone's schedules, but we went by the date we could get the facility.
Either Kirstin (CrabbyAbbe) or I will also start another thread with a title that is more obvious and list sign ups, etc. PM either of us if you have questions. Do tell your friends. We hope you can all come!

Tina, we are sorry you can't make it! If your plans change, keep it in mind. The date was set strictly by the fact that the facility was available on the 29th (and not on the 15th; plus we were running out of time for the 15th).

I'm in Cooperstown. I'd LOVE to do the Syracuse thing but I'm having my new catty Open House that day. The Dolgeville thing is doable for me or anything in Utica (where I usually go to shop). Of course, right now, we're all under WAAYYY too much water (my basement has 27" at last measurement!). My new catties are stuck in Oneonta and can't be delivered today because they've shut down the county! (whine, whine.....). Let's organize something!

NOT okay with rain. We had 27" in our basement with waters rising around us yesterday (with serious thoughts of leaving) when the sun suddenly came out. We're still pumping tonight (thank GOODNESS for volunteer fire departments!) but we're drying out. My son in Unadilla (toward B'ton) can't go home yet and Sidney (where my DIL works) is very messy still. People are finding fish in their living rooms (and other inappropriate places). Yuck! Lots of washed out roads and bridges.....I think we'll be rebuilding from this for awhile. I can't imagine what is must have been like in New Orleans.
