Sorta here sorta not, upset stomach since 3am (yeah I have been up and too sick to be on scs) I actually made it to work (a bit late but I am here) and I just got a report request that will keep me busy until I go on vacation 9/19 SIGH......
I've been organizing! I have all of my ribbon separated by color (I have a double file drawer jammed pack full of ribbon). May have to start using more on swaps

Oh come and organize mine Sandye.....My ribbon is in 5-6 different places right now....Ya would think with all my new storage I got this summer I would be organized...nope. I took pics last night of my stamping area, gonna post it in my gallery tonight :mrgreen:
Someone on here (I think) mentioned that they love the Rockstar paper. If you still have some, PM me and let me know. I found a pack of adhesive ribbon in the Rockstar pattern. If you send me your address, I will mail this ribbon (4 styles I think--it's upstairs) off to you.
Sorry, Laura--I'm organized out! I'm ready to craft Besides, if you "bought" storage supplies, you might not want my help. I used gallon zip-lock bags
I bought 2 shelving units from IKEA in July(and a desk), but as far as embellishment storage I am clueless right now. I Put some of my ribbon in ziploc baggies. Stuff like SU Ribbon Originals. I take the stuff off the cards. then label the outside of the bag, and put them on one of those big ring binders. My spooled ribbons are in the SU ribbon holders, but they are packed full (I have 3 of them - 1 of each size). so my extras are just floating around.
Just cause you have storage does not mean ya know how to use it! :rolleyes: And my SU Stamps are in two places - retired sets are on the top shelf of my closet, and current stamps are in the linen closet, which needs to be organized. I got everything pretty well set after I moved, but now that i have been there a few months there are changes I want to make.
Maybe I will have Laurel (my GF) over Friday night she likes to organize stamping stuff and she is pretty good at it. It's always easier when someone is there with you I think! LOL!

KelliJo--I just re-read some posts on here, and wanted to make a comment about your son and my GD. You said he is an A student who makes b's and c's. Liz is a junior--and has only made 3 b's in high school (all the rest a's). She also got the b's because she had work finished but did not turn it in. She is so good about coming home from school and immediately doing homework (as soon as practices are finished--band, swimming, cross country, track). Her classes are hard--and she has lots of homework. Why would you do the homework and then not turn it in? I don't get it. I'm a retired teacher, and I know that teachers say "pass your homework up". If you did it, pass it up! My husband's comment is "how dumb would she be if she wasn't so smart?" To me, it is just so frustrating! I guess it is better than not doing the work to start with. At least she does well on tests.

elizabeth, how is your back? Are they gonna do anything besides the heat/ice/meds? If you don't get them already, ask about Lidoderm patches, they are non-addictive, and you can wear em for 12 hours a day ~ they work wonders for me! Pm me if you have any questions, I've got two bulging discs myself and no doc will touch me surgically. :(
New rubbah! I can'y believe all the new releases...there are a million!
Oh yea, and I was gonna try to get a sneeky peaky @ the store tonight but the shipment of rubbah is not physically there yet :( or I would be there getting the goods! I am gonna make sure I get down there Saturday morning though to get the goods! ;) LJ needs her new rubbah. I just made a card last night with the Summer Harvest - it's on my blog if you wanna peeky!
Okay Joy--it is yours. I will bring it to the shoebox swap (saves me postage too!) I'll go right now and put it with my shoebox items so I don't forget.

HEy all, cool thing happened @ work, we are the gold sponsor for "ORGANIZE to save lives" program which encourages people to become organ donors....so today my manager comes around, and says we are shooting a video for it at 11:30 and she thinks we should go be in it. I said "okay what the heck it's 70 degrees out and I could use the break" LOL. So we get out there, and we find out they are filming a commercial for the Big Ten Network that will broadcast during Saturdays Badger Football game. How cool is that?

Have you done a search for A2's on the web? I know that locally it's much less expensivie for me to purchase 2 boxes of 50 each envies at WM, than to purchase 1 box of 100 at Office Max! Same for the 6x9's and 9x13 manilla envies.

A friend of mine interned ( the nowadays equivilent of a street team coordinator vs. a 'real' intern ) for Nothing records from '94 to '96 and I got to sit in on a three way call when he ( said friend ) was hooking me up with the gig as well. Best summer ever and got freebie show tix for my efforts.
Since the November gig is five minutes from my front door, I'll be utilizing the superfan access and get there as early as possible to snag my tickets... I'm hoping that we'll get lucky and he'll actually come out and sign stuff. Trent's not nearly as social since he sobered up.

Every concert that I have been to w/ him & his friends I have always gotten right up in front of him (Trent).
My DH & his bro got "secret" tix to when he did he rehearsal here in LA... Trent has hid tickets all over LA & left clues on the website for them to find... he had a really great time! Actually on one of the fan websites, you can see both my hubby & his bro!!! They're also super excited to go to the concert this Sat... :( they couldn't get tix for me... but that's ok. I'll let you know how great I am sure it is going to be!
Oh! And I have to mention that a friend is working @ his house right now wiring it all up for all his new studio stuff. Apparently he's really quiet & stuff. And yeah... they say he's not the same since sobering up! lol

It's Gabby I think who LOVES that Rockstar paper. Right now my ribbon is in three canvas shopping bags (the huge ones they sell in the grocery store, two rubbermade tubs, and on five dowels hanging in my store room. I *might* have a HOarding problem! :rolleyes:
Okay - update: My daughters both went to school today. The youngest seems to be okay now, recovered from her fear. She went to a friend's after school which is great! My oldest DD, who was in the accident, is better. Her neck and shoulder are sore and bruising is starting to show. My DH's head is healing, but he is still really dizzy from the concussion and very sleepy, of course. DS is starting to feel better... slight chance has a basal skull fracture - but not likely.... doc is doing more x-rays tomorrow, just as a precaution. He MIGHT go to school tomorrow.... we'll see... but I can see he is starting to get antsy....
Me? I'm tired. Adrenaline is still high - I think......? Not sure... I haven't really processed anything..... just getting things done... tired, tired.

I need them for Kelli's coaster swap since it is a fall/ holiday I wanted to use that...last time I did cosmobella, so i wanted something different this time.
