I've always liked pink but now I think I love it just because I don't get to see it that much...having a family of 6 and being the only female kinda has it's downside...the only room in the whole house that has even a spot of pink is my craft room! Trust me, I made this room as 'girly' as I could without looking like someone spilled Pepto Bismol all over the place.

Oh, just wanted say that I just came from the bank where there is another display there. It is that cleaning stuff that was at Diana's...well, anyway, they have a draw so I put my name in there only to see that I am the 3rd one entered in the draw. They aren't doing much better than I did.
Well, at least you know it's NOT you...we already knew that anyway...but it's good to have confirmation from the general populace...at least I think it is...

Teresa...its our area...not many SU demos do good around here because there is no jobs...its sad really...there are the couple that have all the downlines (i think one lady is Cindy Custers)...i just dropped mine, i can't afford to pay $400 a 1/4 on stuff and my customers have everything. So i will be ordering some stuff from you in the future! lol

OK girlies! Just wanted to give you a head's up!! I'm going out of town for a few days (Nova Scotia), so I won't be on much. I'm taking my laptop because business is NUTS and I can't afford to NOT keep up with what's going on, but I'm going to try and minimize it's use since this is supposed to be a "vacation".
I'm beat! we just finished a dinner party and the kitchen is still a mess. I'm going to bed, I'll deal with it in the morning.
OMG i have so much cake left over too, one red velvet, one chocolate mousse, and one carrot cake *dies* If I lived closer I would have invited you all over tomorrow for coffee!!
I guess I'll bring one to the early years centre that I bring my son to, the mom's there can have a go at it. I'll down the other two lol!!!
I took pictures finally. You can check out some of my first cards.. I uploaded them to my SCS gallery as well as some extra closeup pics on my Flickr Gallery. Links are in my signature.
okay.. how do you add to the additional info when you post a picture to your gallery? I see on people's photos the fields for 'paper' 'stamps' etc so that they can type in what products they used. But I can't find where to add that info for my photos... or are those fields only available if your are participating in a challenge?

I think Teresa's right...it's been a while since I've uploaded any cards but if I remember correctly when you upload the pic there are fields to fill out for the paper, stamps, etc....they may have changed it or there may be a glitch with SCS...

The weather SUCKS here!!! And it took us till freaking 11 p.m. to get to the valley. My mom is already making everyone nuts...even my sister wants to choke her and THEY are supposed to be the two who get along. Thank goodness we rented a car this time around...we're calling it our getaway car - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Does the getaway car have an ejection seat? If so, maybe you can take mom for a little ride.

My mom is here at my house. Been here since Friday along with my dad and niece. Mom gave me her sewing machine and we've been trying to sew on cardstock. 2 days of sewing and ONE card made.
Practice on paper without thread first. then move up to cardstock and thread...be certain to check your tension or you will tear the paper...then show us the results!! Have fun!
New to this group-living in Mississauga (near Meadowvale Town Center). Are there any stamping/card making groups around? I have a little boy and while it's hard to find time to devote to card making-I'd love to get back into it.
Also does anyone know where to find the Silhouette cutter in the Toronto area? I have a Circuit Personal that I want to sell and get a silhouette instead.
We were living in the States the past few years so I have most of the crafting items I need from there. I love my ATG tape gun-best purchase ever.

I LOVE my ATG gun also...I don't know what I ever did without it! Not sure about the Silhouette, if I see anything I'll be sure to let you know.
I live in Bradford and have monthly SU classes and I have occassional Stamp-A-Stacks (next one coming up in September) but I'm not sure if you're willing to travel (it's about 45 minutes from Mississauga).
Hope you stick around and chat with us. We also try to get together once a month (although it's been a while since the last time) for dinner, coffee, or whatever to chat...you're welcome to join us if you'd like.

I'm a Stampin' UP! demonstrator too (Diana is in my downline!) and I do classes once/month. My August "class" is really an all day event and it's already full. I'm now planning for September - WOOT! It's going to be a "be THAT mom" kind of class...you know the one you love to hate because SHE is the one that makes all the hand made goodies for the classmates? Yeah...I'm THAT mom and I'll teach you how to be her too! :mrgreen: Actually...Diana is THAT mom too - LOL!

Welcome! I have a little boy too and can't find much time to do my crafting either. I find I have to sacrifice sleep if I want to do anything hobby related. Even then he's been going to bed later and later every night! he just went down now (11:22pm) and i'm exhausted! I think I'm going to shorten or eliminate his afternoon nap.
oh and I have to agree that the ATG tape gun was my best purchase ever too!
