Smile Xyron 510

I just bought a xyron 510 today, I got it for half price.... however what do i do with it? I know what you can do with it... but can some of you xyron experts give me some good ideas of what you run through it?

Thanks

My favorite thing to do is to stamp an image on acetate using Stazon and run it through the Xyron, image side up. I then color the sticky side using Pearl Ex powders, chalks, or a combination of both, using blender pens, brushes, or make up applicators. I mount it on black CS and frame it with a piece of CS with an oval or rectangle cut out of it.
Here's one example:

I love the xyron and I use it when I'm in a hurry for something that looks great on a card, but I'm pinched for time. I'm a huge sale shopper at JoAnne's and I've purchased some terrific small appliques that seem to be pretty flat. I put them through the xyron and use them on the card as my main image after using background stamps, etc. Down and dirty, but those who have seen them think they are gorgeous and I don't have to spend much time trying to watercolor, etc.

I'm not the artistic type, but this site is helping me to learn! My head is spinning!

Oh Oh Oh... I know! I love my Xyron for making ornaments!!! You can take a piece of acetate, stamp it, run it through the Xyron and put glitter on it!!! It's so pretty!!! Then you roll the acetate up and stick it in a clear ornament ball.

My friend, Stampinsteph, makes this fantastic card using window sheets run through the xyron and then on the sticky side she brushes on pearl ex. Here is a link to the card. Her picture doesn't do it justice. She swapped these at convention and was mob.

I love it for anything I need to have sticky all over, I put regular paper through and then punch out letters and shapes. I love the little x xyron for ribbon, I cut a 1 inch piece of paper, attatch a couple strips of ribbon and send them through, that way I get a lot more ribbon with less xyron paper. I ran my paper through to cover my mini legal size paper notebooks the other day (the top part that said Office Depot now coordinates with the folder it is in.
I am sure they have more ideas at the xyron web site, I think on the scrapbooking times on the shopping network they have run fabric through them as well.
