I am so glad that I've had the opportunity to get to know you and your work and I hope that this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship!
I am so glad that Kristi opened my eyes and shoved SCS under my nose. Now I run to the computer to peek at your fab artwork every morning, it's the first thing I do while I'm waiting for the tea pot to whistle. I am quickly becoming a stamping junkie, and while I've yet to put stamp to ink to paper, I feel the itching in my fingers. Over the last couple of weeks I have been overwhelmed by your attention to detail, your vivid imagination and your superior color combinations. You're doing things with our first Hanna Stamps! set that I would never dream of.
I thought that maybe it would be ok if I jumped in on this thread. I don't want to step on any toes, but let me assure you that there is a true vision for the Hanna Stamps! They will be girly and sweet but they won't be weak! Kristi and I are very excited to bring you a little something flirty and a little something fun. I've been drawing cute, sexy, sweet for years. As a working illustrator I was exhilarated to find a forum for women who love women and girls who are as blythe as they are driven. I wasn't aware of the number of shopping girls in your arsenal, but I don't think that there's anything wrong with adding another to your queue. I'm not a crazy shopper, but sometimes when it's just me and my girlfriends I really wish I could blow my fiscal responsibility out the door and grab a charge card. This need to shop does not define us, and it doesn't define Hanna Stamps! We really did want our first set to be a set that could appeal to everyone. I thought this set had a lot of possibilities, but after seeing your cards I can see that they're endless. Thank you for all of your support. I've been so thrilled to see the sweet comments and can't wait to show you where we're going from here.
I just wanted to say "welcome" and that I love this girl that you and Kristi have created and she is the 1st "person" stamp that I have ever had any interest in, so thank you...and shopping happens to be my #1 sport so I love this 1st edition;)
Just don't get too serious on our stamps. ;) Some of us Girls just wanna have fun! (when we're not working and cooking and cleaning and grocery shopping which is the only kind of shopping I have time to do anymore....)
I was in a scrapbook store yesterday and they had some MFT stamps in there, and the only "headless girl" set they had was the shopping one. I was standing there, holding it, WANTING it (cause i don't have any MFT yet) and i put it away for a number of reasons. 1) I don't have female friends that i SHOP with. 2) I don't give cards to girls saying "take a load off... go shop", and, 3) i don't know one female i could give a card to with a shopping theme. i liked the image, but the cards would gather dust...
so denidill, you're not alone.

Ok, my two cents worth here. I bought one of the bella's just because everyone else was and only have used it twice. I agree they should make some with the stay at home, PTA, room mother, cookie baker, scout mom, and your everyday housewife. Also, for an older person like myself. Now, I don't mean a rocking chair, just one that doesn't look like a Barbie doll with a career. I get tired of stamping flowers, and tree's, I would like to see a middle-aged person.

There's a mom with kids, mom with daughter, upset woman (wearing an apron - could be a housewife). The very last stamp is a woman reading, enjoying a cup of tea.
you girls are crackin me up! I need the thunderthighsabella! But isn't that why we love them...cause they are what we fantasize being! I know I'd love to have the figures of my girls...I mean walking the dogs in heels, SO Donna Reed!

Have you checked out Eat Cake Graphics?
Here are 3 pages of grown-ups, but some of them may be older than you'd like (older than middle-aged):

I love the Bellas- got a bunch of them. I love your girlies too!!
JK. seriously i LOVE to shop. especially for shoes and purses (you do not want to see my closet) and yes i have ordered the MFT say charge set and i have two special friends who i would wruite say charge and even tho they donty have CC theyt would get it cuz they love to chop too. no""because i NEED it" isnt something i would say.. or maybe think, it just not out loud (my mom would tell me to quit whining and payfor it myself lol). but i prolly wouldnt use it. im the girl who heems and haws over that cute roxy purse at jean service then at the till my debit is declined (ok only once but ya get my point *sheepish*)
i know some ppl would like certain bellas etc but mess around with her, i say a card taht made comobell in GIBella with a couple of markers. its just how you interprete the stamp. and as far as i know Emily isnt taking special orders even tho i have request a plussizabella line sorta like the TAC girls (from the special kit). also all it takes is a litytle making and that cosmo is a cuppa joe and seriously if one company dosent suit you taste quite right snoop around there are hunderds of stamp comps, maybe you would even start a new trend.
JMHO, love all the thoughts and emily i want a bubblegumabella she needs to be blowing a bubble and texting on her cell LOL oh and he has to be bigger tahn size 2 TIA lol
Is this what you mean by interpreting a stamp? (description is in my gallery, and it is Bad Sherry's fault, really! ;)) Also, I want a bigbellyandbottomabella
