Can someone explain to me what is meant by 'E' size? I bought some product at a fair, but don't have a 'demo'.
I love the patterned/two sided 12x12 in the kits. I just bought the textured white cs. But what paper has the white core? All colored cardstock?
Is all colored cardstock textured? Or just what's called out as textured?
Thanks for any help!
All CTMH stamp sets are either size A,B,C,Dor E it refers to how large the set is or how many are in the set and the price, an A size is $10.95 and will have about 4-5 smaller stamps in the set, a D is $22.95 and will have maybe 8-10 stamps in the set (it depends on each set though). Our E size so far is alphabets but we think more images are coming, and they are really large, about 1 1/2-2 inches high.
All of our exclusive cardstock, textured and non is white core, since the paper you got is white, you can't see the white core
HTH and feel free to PM if you have any other questions!
The E sets of stamps are a larger font. They come on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of acetate and store in these neat envelopes that go in 3 ring binders. The letters themselves range from 1 1/2" to 2" tall. And, wait until you see the one set that will only be available during the Heart of Winter promo from 12/14-1/31. It has flowers and sentiments on it. Gorgeous!
It is so exciting to see how many people get excited about CTMH's new products. I think each catalog gets better and better! I am a huge fan of the Just Chillin' paper, daisy flowers, bigger brads, Simples Pleasures Flower stamp set, Size E alphabet, and the gorgeous ribbon selections! I love the whole catalog. Oh, and I LOVE the new Winter Cozy B&T paper. SUper cute!!! I can't wait to see the next catalog. Happy scrapping!!!

[QUOTE=HeatherHolbrook]Kristina- I have used the twill stick stock and love it! I've only stamped on it, haven't printed it on the computer yet though. It stamps really well, I've stamped some pretty detailed images and they look great. It frays pretty easy for a neat distress edge. I'll try to post some of my cards with it soon!
Heather, great job on both of your cards. I haven't purchased the Twill yet, but after seeing how creative you can be with it, I think I'm going to get it! Thanks for your ideas!!

I love their layouts and paper.thier layouts are the reason I buy the catalog.I like the idea of clear stamps But find they don't stamp as crisp as rubber.I only have 3 sets from CTMH.But that is only because I can't break away from SU.they are just too good and I love to many of thier sets. It's like atrap.you see 1 sample of a card and you have to have it.

Lisa,
If you're not getting a crisp image, it could be that you're using too much pressure and smushing the image. With the clear stamps, you really don't need to push much at all. It's a hard habit to break after using wood mounts<G>
Funny Story..... I was using a wood stamp on a card I was doing, and then switched over to my acrylic. I kept stamping and stamping with the acrylic and since it was a new set I was wondering what was going on. Then the lightbulb went off and I realized I was using my "wood pressure..just about standing on it" on it and then the image was perfect. When I'm using our Acrylics, I just lay the stamp down on the paper, and then rub my hand over the block. No need to push down or rock. Perfect image each time. Also, are you seasoning your acrylics by rubbing them with an eraser before using them? If you need any help, feel free to pm me.
My favorite out of the fall catty is the sets with the kids. I have gotten the halloween set, the school set, and the tooth fairy one. I made the most adorable Tooth fairy page for my son's lost two front teeth! It is a must have!
AMEN SISTA!! I LOVE the toothfairy set. I am a SU! snob on stamps, but HAD to purchase the CTMH toothfairy set since SU doesn't have one. I have been bugging them for 3 years to come up with one, even cornering the art director at convention. I would love to see your scrapbook page.

Wow! I have never had to push that hard when my stamps were woodmounted. I don't think that is really accurate. I own 1 set of CTMH stamps and I apply the same pressure that I do with my SU stamps and get almost the same result. I had been stamping with SU's woodmounted stamps for 6 1/2 years and could easily stamp all of them. I think it also depends on the ink pads you are using. My SU pads are always nice & juicy and that really helps. Now that all my stamps are unmounted and on the EZ mount system with acrylic blocks, I apply the same pressure as before. Still looks the same to me.

I was thinking the same thing, it might be the ink.
I have to ask how you like being all unmounted? I am going to slowly unmount a few here and there and I think it will be nice.

EXACTLY, I never had a problem with wood mount, have also been using SU! for 7 years, sounded like a bias opinion. To each their own, just don't trash the others out there. I liked the tip to "season" the acryllics with an eraser. I had never heard that before, and had problems getting my acryllics evenly inked. Good thing they are clear and easy to reposition to restamp. I will "season" mine before using them again.

Sorry you felt I was trashing SU, as I wasn't. Actually, I was using an older wood mount CTMH, and maybe it's just me, but when I used to use wood mount, I always felt I needed to apply more pressure and also rocked my stamps. With the acrylics, I don't. I started with CTMH when we had wood, so, there's no bias there.
Update: I ordered a set of acrylic handles and a set of snowflake stamps.
All I took was a credit card and the demo tells me they don't take credit cards!!!!
So the next day I got a check to the hostess, well the hostess has now lost the check. She is looking but I will probably have to write a new one and she will pay to have that one stopped.
Some CTMH demos take credit cards, it's up to the individual consultant, there are extra fees involved so some decide not to.
I hope the hostess finds your check!!

What a mess!
Why don't they take credit cards?
I too hope the hostess finds your check!
I am also sorry for the mess!

I am sorry to hear about the mess with your payment. That's no fun, unfortunately things happen. At least she is willing to pay the stop pay.
As said before, some consultants do take credit cards. My customers who pay with a credit cards like to shop online - maybe she has a website you can shop at.
Again, sorry to hear about the problems.

Here is another tip on how to get a clear image using the CTMH stamps. Try using the foam piece that comes with your stamps. Put it down first and then your paper then stamp image. It give the paper a little give and acts as the foam like on our wood mounted stamps. I hope that made sense. I am horrible at explaining things. I am orginally from Missouri and am more of a show me girl ;).
