OK I'm not shy! I love getting comments from Jeanne S., emilymomto3boys, Mamakimberly, any of the DD, Jami, heart, Beate, of course there are tons more LOL.
I agree, while "nice card" and "pretty colors" are great comments to get, I really like to hear WHY someone likes what I made. Or that because of something I did, it makes someone want to buy that set.
I TOTALLY agree with this!! I love it when I get 'feedback' type posts to my gallery!!
As for who I like posting...I always love it when a 'known personality' makes a comment but which posts mean the most? The ones by my friends of course!!;-)
any quotes are great. I use the gallery for my own purposes but if someone happens to look and likes something that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I've used the gallery so much for inspiration but feel I have been selfish not sharing my thoughts and comments so for my NY resolution - I'm posting more comments in the gallery as my way of saying thanks for sharing a great idea!

I've even > gotten comments from Michelle Laycock and Jacksonbelle of the DD!
So, who do YOU get excited over posting on your cards?

1) I will refrain from endlessly checking my gallery for new comments.
2) I will stop memorizing how many comments each card in my gallery has.
3) I will stop designing cards with the hope of garnering comments.
4) I will not brag about how many comments a card of mine got.
5) I will stop reading comments on my cards long enough to leave some on
other people's cards.
6) I will not jump up and down and scream when any of the DD, Emilymom,
Serikastamper, JulieHRR, JeanneS, or any other "SCS BIG GUN" comments
on a card I have made.
7) I will not shameless start a thread whose sole purpose is to get people to
look at my gallery and leave a comment.
8. I will no longer drag my DH over to the computer to read the amazing
comment that Beate gave me.
9) I will not use my gallery as the wallpaper on my computer.
10) I will learn to accept that I can live a productive life without comments.
11) I will stop ignoring my family because I am slavishly reading and
re-reading the comments in my gallery.
12) I will celebrate this new found sense of security by making a new card
and uploading it to my gallery, where it will get tons of awesome
comments from all of the DD Girlz, Beate, Emilymomto3stampers......in
fact, this card will be so awesome that Daven himself will comment on it!
ETA--I have started a new thread for those Comment Ho's among us in EC!

Pretty sure you could do this. I'd have to ask my DH (computer geek) how though. I bet you could also set it up to be a rotating screen saver as well! It could rotate through all the pages of your gallery! (So some of us would have a very short rotation--but size doesn't matter, right gals?!!)

It's late, I'm tired! What can I say...;)
Aww, thanks for the well wishes! DId I mention that this is only my 5th ever workshop??
and btw, I already paid you to be my friend..... LOL!
FINE!!! I'll take the nice comment in my gallery as payment for this month.......
What are you still doing on here??? Dontcha have like a ton of stuff to do!
You'll do great tomorrow! And total congrats on the new recruit!!! Now, whip her into doing tons of work so you can reap the bennies!!! (That's what I do with Karen...;) )
I agree with both of you! ANYONE who takes the time to make a comment makes my day! I would, however, be totally FLOORED if Beate were to comment! And, Beate, please DON'T just to be polite! I'm NOT worthy!
ETA: I just changed my siggy to reflect that statement!
I love getting comments from ANYONE ! It is incredible how it boost your creative idea's. I end up saying, wow... she like that ??? I could maybe try doing this then.... Yikes, she liked that too ???? Wow, maybe I could venture out and try.... !
This is just the best place ever to build confidence to try new tech's and feel comfortable with sharing them.
With that said...... I got a comment from emilymomto3boys last week !!!

WOW I just checked out your gallery and was gonna leave a comment, but couldn't find one that even NEEDED validation!! AWESOME every single one of them!!
You can never get to much validation...EVER! If I see four pages of comments I say "it's all been said but I still have to say it" then put love it, great card or whatever you feel.
Now one of my all time favorite commenters is MY PRECIOUS. She makes my day every time. She puts fun into her comments and she makes me simle! That is unless baby is in arms and she can't type!
But I'll take any and all comments and love them all! I think a two word comment is just as good as a long one, they are telling you they like your card and it may be at a time when they only have five minutes to peek at the gallery. Come em coming...when my email shows that webmaster notice I'm a happy camper!
I love comments from everyone! I especially love it when I get a comment from someone I've never seen one from before. Kind of makes me feel like my card was soooo delicious that I pulled them from lurk-dom and they couldn't resist posting!
I was totally amazed to get a card comment from Carole Richardson! Her work is so beyond what I am up to. And comments from Jami and Stampersusie were pretty wonderful as well!
I was SO floored when I said on a post *somewhere* here that I needed to get busy and upload some cards and JENN BALCER told me "You go, girl!". WOW! ANY of the mods or DD or any of the people whose galleries I like to visit (Jeanne S, yours is one of my faves right now, but there's lots of you I like to return to over and over) would just blow my mind...I feel like I am so far from some of you....
hmmmm.... i'd like comments from anyone- really. 'course i'd have to put something in a gallery to get a comment on, wouldn't i? some day.... they're all hanging up on the wall- you think i'd take them down and take pix. i think i'll make it a goal today to put 1 item (stop laughing) in my gallery- it'll go right next to the other "1";-)
I just got a comment from emilymomto3boys and I about fell out of my chair. I would have never guessed my work was worthy of her time. I think I will be smiling the rest of the day.
I did get comments from her on my before and after card from the Do I Dare thread - but that is a card I pointed out to people. This one was a total out of the blue.
